“This is a cute small establishment in Huntingburgh. The food was good, service was great. Friendly and on top of drinks. Didn't have dessert but they looked good. I had a Reuben and it was piled high with chopped corn beef and sauerkraut. The top piece of rye was toasted but the bottom was a little soggy. Best to use a fork and knife. Taste was good though.”

“Good food! I got the Chicken, bacon and ranch wrap with their fries. Their fries were really good and cut in a way that I have never tried before. You can pick whatever seasoning to put in your fries. I picked the smoked taco seasoning for my fries. Definitely will be back. The staff was very friendly was well.”

“I'm staying in the connected hotel for work (Quality Inn) so, obviously this is extremely convenient. The food was AWESOME. I got a Burrito Supreme - best $8 I've spent in a while.I ordered early (like 4:15-4:30) so they weren't busy at all. Carry out order took less than 5 minutes. I've spent more and waited longer for less food and lower quality (fast food) elsewhere.I'm definitely coming back at least once this week while I'm staying here. . maybe twice.”

“I live in Jasper and can honestly say when I want a subway sandwich I only go to the huntingburg location. I have had a bad experience at the ones in Jasper. Huntingburg location employees have manners, they read the order back to you and they act like they want to be there. The order is always right and you’re treated with respect. 5 stars across the board.”

“This is a little hometown bar. The pizza was a little pricey the one pictured was $27 but it definitely had a lot of ingredients and good flavor. The owner was very friendly and talkative. “I understand why all of Jasper is talking about this place. With as many mexican restaurants in Jasper, IN I was truly not excited about another one. I was pleasently surprised. The food is good but I'm pretty sure it's the staff and the atmospher that actually make this place better than the rest. HINT: The Mahi Mahi Taco's will turn your hands BLUE :) lol”

“Chavas is the place to go when I am super hungry!” I love going to Chavas, it is like a qudoba or chipotle but waaaaay better. The parking here is spacious as is the seating. The building was clean and well taken care of. The food is very good. The burritos are MASSIVE and you can get anything on it you want. Chavas has that authentic Mexican food vibe that qudoba or chipotle can not compete with. I love their hot sauce selection.”

“We've stopped by a couple of times when we're in town for basketball. Last year we got dairy free strawberry and this year we ordered dairy free Oreo. It's a coconut based ice cream that is vegan. Typical for these kind of ice creams, it has a strong coconut taste at first, second bite is less noticeable, and then quickly goes away. I thought it was delicious and appreciate that Zax Creamery has three vegan flavors and rotates them. Thank you for also clearly stating that your dairy free is vegan (which isn't always the case with "dairy free"). A stop at Zax Creamery is a must when in Jasper.”

“Loved this place. Had the biscuits and gravy a half order it was still pretty big and really good. I also had the Belgian waffle that was good too. They gave me the wrong topping which our wonderful waitress caught before it came to the table but gave me a free one with the right topping to take home. Thought that was awesome. My hubby had the Philly cheese steak and said it was good. Everything our table had looked and tasted great. Our waitress was the sweetest young lady and so helpful since it was our first time there. We plan on coming back soon. The restaurant was very clean and cute.”

“Stopped in here on a business trip. Food was pretty good. Got a steak burger. The burger tasted flame grilled but was a little too blackened on the outside for my taste. But was still decent. Sides were good, I got the buffalo fries. Service was really good. Not a big place, kinda older looking inside and out. Wasn't very busy for a Friday night. I would go back and try something else just to see maybe how the steaks are and such.”

My grandmother took me out for lunch and highly recommended that I try their "gator bites"... Not gonna lie, I was slightly apprehensive to confidently order alligator (for the first time, too) in Jasper, Indiana. But since she couldn't say enough positive things about them, I gave in and ordered them as my main dish... Long story short- OH MY LAWD WERE THEY AMAZING! Definitely did not disappoint. Overall, they did a great job leaving a positive first impression on me. Now it all makes sense why Snap's is considered one of Jasper's staple restaurants.
