“Retro is asily the best restaurant in Jasper. Always great food. Can't really recommend any dish in particular... never had any dish there that wasn't unique and delicious.”

“Food was excellent. I had the gumbo. My wife had the gator ettoufe (sp?). Everything was pretty spicy which is to be expected. We also had the beignets. Recommend it all. Service was great. Owner is very nice. Prices very reasonable. (10-15 a person on average). I want to try to po-boys next time.”

“Chavas is the place to go when I am super hungry!” I love going to Chavas, it is like a qudoba or chipotle but waaaaay better. The parking here is spacious as is the seating. The building was clean and well taken care of. The food is very good. The burritos are MASSIVE and you can get anything on it you want. Chavas has that authentic Mexican food vibe that qudoba or chipotle can not compete with. I love their hot sauce selection.”

“Tell City Pretzels is a great place to take the Grandkids for a tour. It was educational and the kids loved making their own pretzel! The new soft pretzels are a new favorite also.”

“Loved this place. Had the biscuits and gravy a half order it was still pretty big and really good. I also had the Belgian waffle that was good too. They gave me the wrong topping which our wonderful waitress caught before it came to the table but gave me a free one with the right topping to take home. Thought that was awesome. My hubby had the Philly cheese steak and said it was good. Everything our table had looked and tasted great. Our waitress was the sweetest young lady and so helpful since it was our first time there. We plan on coming back soon. The restaurant was very clean and cute.”

“Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good bar selections. Didn't think the smoked foods had much of a smokey flavor. BBQ sauce on the pulled pork was very sweet. Wings were well cooked. Mac n chz was bland with a watery sauce.”
