“I learned about gips got tips from following the black dolla Indy facebook page. I am Kansas born and raised but relocated to Indiana about 3 years ago and have been searching high and low for good BBQ!! I’ve tried a few places around the city but nothing compares to this!! I drive about 25 minutes from Fishers to Indianapolis but the food is always worth the the trip. Their customer service is ALWAYS on point and I’ve been back every week for the past month. I had my mom and her husband try it today (mom’s a big critic) and she absolutely loved her rip tip dinner! I did a walk in order today and waited in the car for about 10 minutes when a sweet young lady met me at the door to bring it out!! The price is reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. For about $22 I was able to get a rip tip dinner which included sauce on the meat, sauce on the side ($1 charge for the side of sauce) 2 sides (I chose double fries) and a bread slice. We spent $68 total for all 3 dinners with sides of sauce. Good price/quality and absolutely delicious!! The owner’s wife is very pleasant to speak with when I call to make sure they have what I want because they do sell out fast sometimes. I hope this business stays around for a long time. I am definitely a loyal customer now!!“
“I got married here in October 2023 and this was sucha great venue. You food, space, bartenders and staff made everything go easy and fun that day. You guys will always have a special place in my heart.But as for the rest. side, the brisket grilled cheese is my favorite sandwich ever sometimes I just find myself thinking abt it randomly.“

“Man Big Walt’s has had me in a chokehold for months! It’s just great every time. A two man team (generally) pumping out hot fresh food! I love the pork chop sandwich and the cheeseburger. If you have a big appetite you might get the Big Walt on Texas toast, it’s 2 hand patted seasoned patties with your choice of toppings. Wait is generally 20 mins or less! Love yo go when they open, I’m in and out!“
“I’ve been here a few times and the food doesn’t disappoint. I did have a disappointing experience today with our bill however. There was an extra meal charged on our bill which I brought to our servers attention. When she returned, I found that instead of voiding and printing a corrected bill, she ran a credit charge for the overage. This meant I had to pay the higher incorrect charge and wait (from what I understand) a couple 3-4 days for the credit to return to my card. I don’t feel it appropriate that the customer pay for the billing error then have to wait for a refund. I did let them know I wasn’t happy about it. I will be watching that I do receive this credit. It also put a bad taste in my mouth about returning anytime soon.“

“Ordered online, pretty simple. Drove to the restaurant and parked in the numbered space for pickup. We ordered the Sirloin Steak Salad, Spicy Chicken Bites, Brussel Sprouts, with the mac & cheese. All this food was above and beyond taste, it was perfect! I had the Spicy Chicken Bites, and they come with a dipping sauce. This is by far the best Chicken I've ever ate. Thumbs up to the entire staff at this restaurant! I definitely will go back for more of that! The service from A-B was excellent.....“

“Went here for lunch with my girlfriend the other day during work and I tried the burnt brisket ends with side of mac. They were delicious. Girlfriend got a pork sandwich and liked it as well. She tried a piece of my brisket and love it as well. Chicken was sold out that whole day unfortunately due to a large order but will likely be back to try more items. “We’ve been here a few times and it’s always been great. Today we went and had the sweetest waitress. She helped cook the food so we could focus on eating a spending time with our family. She made good conversation with us. I had made a comment to my daughter about how I miss the homemade kimchi that my auntie used to make, the waitress went to the back and brought me out some more kimchi and said that it was homemade here too. She was very helpful to my kids and any questions they had about the different sides. We went on a Wednesday night around 5, so it wasn’t too busy. The food is always great here and my favorite part is all the sides. They do add 18% gratuity to any bill with the all you can eat, it does state it on the menu so it’s not a surprise. Overall this is my favorite Korean restaurant in Indiana.“

It’s only one person taking orders and payments, preparing the orders.. also make sure you go at least an 2 hours before the restaurant closes they run out of food..
