“Come to a spot that has a fun vibe! I was able to celebrate my birthday here and we had ten in our group. Found a booth with four chairs that fit all of us. Love the Sassafras Tea! I got the Amendment which was just a bit hotter than I expected. There is an ice cream shop attached that serves different types of shakes. Be prepared to get full! Two types of bbq sauce on a counter to place in cups to take to the table. A bit loud, but for the most part we could carry on a conversation. Fast and friendly service. When you walk in you order at the counter and then receive a receipt with your number and they will call when your order is ready. For dessert be sure to grab the homemade key lime pie in the cooler by the register! It's so good!! When it's warmer outside then they do have outdoor seating as well.“
“We showed up about 9:30 with what was supposed to be a party of 8. That's 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. We were seated right away, and our server was more than helpful and gracious. She made sure our order was placed before the kitchen closed and took very good care of us. We only ended up having four in our party, but we're very thankful for such a positive experience that late.“
“I drive by this food truck literally multiple times each day as my office is nearby. I keep intending to try it and have not made the time….until now. I ordered carry out via the website (which was a great experience by the way) and omg it was absolutely delicious! I am half Assyrian, so I’ve enjoyed a lot of Middle Eastern food throughout my life. Davani Armenian BBQ is the real deal! Everything tasted as authentic as if a relative or family friend prepared and grilled it from scratch. The beef lulu kabob wrap was incredible…the meat was moist and flavorful, the lavosh wrap was still warm from the grill, and the owner (who was so friendly and kind) was able to provide me the sauce, cilantro & onion, and tomato toppings on the side as I requested. All of it was **so good**! I also ordered the hummus & pita —both of which were quite tasty as well. I highly recommend this food truck to everyone who appreciates authentic, freshly prepared food! “this place I really enjoyed it didn't realize it was a buffet style but nevertheless it was really really special I was supposed to have a party of four but they all backed out so I went alone I enjoyed the experience by myself once I got the hang of it cuz I had to do the food myself I would have preferred that they cooked it for me but it gave me the experience to add my need all the everything that I want so still the last I had a wonderful time and I really appreciate this place I wasn't too expensive cuz I'm worth every time that I spent on myself so yeah go check it out I had a wonderful time so who was excellent season very well my host was very pleasant she was trying to teach me how to use the chopstick been a while since I used one but she even gave me one that she made for like small children to use I prefer still a fork in my but nevertheless it was so good so thank you for my experience thank you for my blessing of my wonderful serving and server, I'm thankful for spending money on myself it's always a good thing when you work hard you got to play smart at work vice versa it doesn't matter so have a wonderful Saturday I'm also blessed that my food was excellent excellent excellent it was so many different choices of meat to choose for from I stuck to the beef I didn't get the chicken I was just overwhelmed with food thank you very much it took over the old cracker barrel that was on Michigan road I love the little robot Lady Deb“
“This was my 2nd time coming to this place and I was expecting the same great BBQ rib tips with sweet sauce but when I received the rib tips..it tasted almost like they were boiled, tough, and very gummy..maybe it was just a early batch and they needed to sell immediately or maybe it was just one of those days but I plan coming back because I am still looking to have that same experience the first time. Also I wonder if such request for getting rib tips with more bark is possible because that’s what got me coming back again lol. But overall this place is great!“
“Fantastic meal, fantastic service, fantastic experience.I had the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and mac & cheese. The original sauce was my favorite, but the hot BBQ sauce was also good.My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. The baked beans tasted like cinnamon brown sugar.We're glad to have found a good BBQ place near us, definitely recommend if you're in the area.“

“We had our company holiday party / 2024 kick off at Salty Cowboy and had an amazing time. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. We had a group of around 30 people and all of the food arrived at our tables quickly and was incredible. The owners, Justin and Kristen, were attentive to our needs and made sure that everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Salty Cowboy if you are looking for a group outing.“

“Went here for lunch with my girlfriend the other day during work and I tried the burnt brisket ends with side of mac. They were delicious. Girlfriend got a pork sandwich and liked it as well. She tried a piece of my brisket and love it as well. Chicken was sold out that whole day unfortunately due to a large order but will likely be back to try more items. “This was all of our first time there we had 6 in our party which included two kids. I was so glad to NOT see mac n cheese as a main course for kids on the menu. Everyone got something different and everyone loved their food. “This place is such a great spot. Every time I go here the Employees are so nice. I’ve met one named Nolan (I’m also named Nolan) which was super cool he was great. I hadn't found any truly good and satisfying BBQ here in Indiana, 'til today.I was extremely impressed and smiling as I was greeted before I even reached the order/pickup window/door of Ben's BBQ Shack - Westfield (north suburb of Indy) on my first-ever visit today, for the online pre-order I placed Wednesday (they sell out every day they're open – Fri-Sat-Sun – carry-out only, although there are several picnic tables for fair-weather dining).As I walked up, a team member stepped out of the doorway, with a big smile, a genuinely welcoming attitude, and asked if I was picking up.I gave him my name. HIs face lit up as he seemed to know my order. I had included a message, in the special notes section of my online order, mentioning that this was my first time and that I didn't see an option to specify sauces, if there were any available. I wrote, "First time ordering. If there are side BBQ sauce options I missed, a sweet / medium-heat variety would be the best fit for us. Otherwise, smokey-and-delish-as-they're-served is what we're looking forward to trying. See y'all Friday! Cheers!" (the sauce I described IS available and, Oh My! ... so, so good.)He said, "So this is your first time here!""Yeah!" I smiled back ...He ducked inside and soon returned with my bagged order and added, "Ben threw in a sample of pulled pork for you to try."Then, "Ben" looked out the window and offered an enthusiastic, "Hey! Thanks, bud! Thanks a lot!" ... Although obviously busy in the midst of rush work as folks were lining up for walkup orders, they had time to express appreciation and inspire smiles with their guests.Ben and his team get it. They are sincerely welcoming as they actively engage with and serve their customers. My spouse, sister-in-law, and I opened a restaurant just over a year ago. We also know how rewarding it is to engage with guests and deliver a truly enjoyable experience; and we do our best to inspire our team to "get it" too.It was still warm when I got home to stash it for reheating, later, when my spouse arrives home from work ... but there was that unexpected sample of pulled pork calling out to me. I opened up the trays and was very happy to find that the brisket was a very GENEROUS 2 lbs ... and the sample of pulled pork that I expected to be bite-size or, perhaps, a slider-size serving ... was also very generous – enough for a couple full-size sandwiches, or four or five sliders, at least!Anyway, since there was such an abundance and no one else home to see ... I sampled a serving of the beef brisket ... and made myself two pulled pork sliders ... and suddenly found myself in smokey BBQ bliss! Just-right smokiness, perfectly juicy, beautiful to behold, and oh-so-savory to taste!Ben's BBQ Shack is likely to become a monthly ritual ... or at least my go-to when the smokey BBQ cravings hit hard.“
