Smee's Place Bar & Grill

Stopped in at Smee's Place with my parents for lunch and ordered a breaded tenderloin. It was quite literally the BEST one I've ever had!! Crispy yet light and wonderful flavor. I grew up in Indiana and have always loved breaded tenderloins. I moved out of state for several years and really missed seeing them on menus. Since returning to Indiana five years ago, I've had tenderloins at a lot of restaurants. Smee's Place had my vote and I'll be returning soon!

We have only eaten at Smees twice, but had different experiences each time. The first time the service, food, and drinks were amazing! The second time they closed as we arrived. It was about 2 pm in the afternoon so that seemed odd. The third time the service was still great but the food and drinks were meh. The steak sandwich had almost no meat. Delivery for the win on a snowy night! The steak wedge was very good! Steak wasn't over cooked, wish there was a bit more of it! Everything was fresh. Good amount of tomato and bacon too! Blue cheese dressing was mild- and I actually enjoyed it- Im usually not a fan. Apple was an interesting add- but in huge slices so still ate it separately from the salad. Hubs really liked the cubano! Sweet potatoes a little cold- but again- hazard of takeout! Really great easy dinner!
