BarEven though the name is something of a tongue twister, Owsley's Lounge is a welcome addition to the Jasper scene. Sitting right next to the Fairfield Inn on the Patoka river, it is a welcome addition for us weary travelers who want to have a cocktail and chat after a day of meetings. We were staying at the Fairfield Inn next door and opted to walk next door and try Owlsley's. It was early for dinner and not very crowded. Allowed us to chat with Rodney and learn about Jasper. Great conversation and wonderful bar food/drinks. Highly recommend the 3 cheese panini, smoked old fashioned, and mojito.

The beautiful mahogany bar draws you in but I recommend you stay for the food! The panini was great and artichoke dip delicious! The Martini of the month is always a good bet. The wait staff is super attentive even at the outdoor seating.
