“I cannot say enough good things about this place! My grandparents used to take me here when I was barely old enough to walk (this was mid 1980’s). We would come in the south entrance to sit… because it was the smoking section!! Their chicken and noodles are AMAZING! My grandmother claimed she “helped” them doctor up the recipe to taste and look better. Although both my grandparents are no longer living, and I live 1,000 miles away, I think of this place often. I plan on taking a trip next year to good ol’ Kokomo… and I will be bringing my husband and daughter for their very first taste of Breakfast House! I cannot wait to share this amazing place with them!“
“I love taking my sons to IHOP. It is nostalgic for me. And them too I think. Whenever we can't decide on somewhere to go, IHOP. If it's a craving for breakfast for dinner? IHOP. If it's a random Tuesday after school? IHOP. Lol last time we went in the sweetest guy waited on us. It was mid afternoon and the restaurant was pretty empty. We sat down and immediately he got to work to take care of us. I LOVE an attentive server. Halfway through we noticed a lady and a little girl come in. The little girl leaped into the servers arms and all she wanted was to be with her daddy. The server was so sweet. One of my sons asked for an extra waffle after we got our food and the server offered to go back and make it for him. Must have been Cooks break. ? he mentions he will be cooking up something for his daughter and fiance as well. He's back out to us lickity split. The little girl has been adorable the whole time. I raised my babies in a restaurant. And it just tipped the nostalgia scale full throttle for me. Darn straight you raise your kids like this you'll raise em right, with work ethic! Let your kids see you work. It's freaking beautiful. The kid needs a raise. So I tipped him fat and went on my way squeezing my teens a little tighter that day. ?“
“Stopped in early for a to go breakfast, I got the burrito, wife got the egg, cheese, bacon biscuit, daughter got full biscuits and gravy. Food was prepared super fast and staff was super friendly, inside the restaurant was decorated very nice bright colors and clean, staff was all friendly and ready to help.“
