“This place has the best home cooked food. If I am ever in town and it's breakfast time, this is where I go. The building is small, but the atmosphere is very welcoming. I know it sounds corny, but the food does taste like it was made with love.“

“Although I rate it a five stars that's based on understanding that it's not a five-star restaurant. The food here is good. I believe that this restaurant is a great addition to LaPorte. There's not many restaurants in Laporte that have a quality sit down dining experience.I like the mix of Mexican and American dishes. I love that I'm able to drink horchata with a burger.They're sirloin sandwich is a special they have often and I enjoy it.If you're looking for a quality dining experience in LaPorte and you've banana able to find it, I recommend trying this place out. It’s perfect for a fancy date night dinner, hanging with friends for a bar night and the outdoor patio is great for a summer hang out. The owner has clearly put her heart and soul along with a lot of time and money into turning this place into I think the best restaurant/bar in at least La Porte and Michigan City and stands toe to toe with Chicago and beyond. “Very neighborhood bar feel. Waiter knew many of the people at our table though it was my first time there. Great service from staff. The food was soooo good! I can't eat anything fried and so I went for a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly with great seasoning.Dietary restrictions: I can't currently have anything too high in fat but was able to find a grilled chicken sandwich that was perfect. The flavor was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly not over done or rubbery like most places. Nice and tender which is perfect for a sandwich.“

He then kindly says I played and we lost a lot but we won a few . Says we made state 4 times but didn't get the Championship but I could tell that he was telling her it wasn't about winning it was about the journey. “They were short-handed, and the manager was rude to employees, and customers and even to the 2 phone called that came in while I was waiting for our meal. “Staff is always pleasant. They seem to always be smiling and always happy to serve. This Dairy Queen seems to have a steady, but light stream of traffic every time I’ve visited, which to me is a good sign. Occasionally the dining area and bathrooms could use a bit more cleaning but it’s never in a state of neglect. They seem to always be working hard, and I would say this location must be well managed. You don’t get this level of service on a shoestring staff if the management wasn’t treating them well.“
“We were in La Porte and craving burgers. Royale with Cheese did not disappoint! Simple but cool Pulp Fiction designed space. Our kids loved their burgers! I had the namesake Royale with Cheese with a veggie patty. Delicious! But why isn't there a Big Kahuna Burger on the menu?“
