“The Fried chicken and tenders were delicious.Just like Mom made.The green beans were also tasty and I just loved the fried potatoes.The restaurant was quaint and very clean.They had a lot of on line orders to go .I do believe you're going to like the place to eat inside or get it to go for a picnic at Morgan Monroe State Forest.”

Parking: This place is usually busy and parking can be a real challenge but looks now like we just park on the side of the road, the food is worth the parking nightmare. They have a rather large parking lot it's just packed full of cars people wanting great food...”

“Oh my goodness!! I had heard of Sara’s Goodies but never made it to her shop, THEN I found out Shively’s farm stand right by my house had her cheesecake! I went yesterday to their amazing little stand and got FARM FRESH BACON and 3 pieces of cheesecake!! Banana pudding, vanilla bourbon, and Nutella. I tried the banana pudding and vanilla bourbon. Both were absolutely amazing. My son had the Nutella and said it was so good. This will definitely not be my last time from the farmstand and from Sarah’s goodies!!”

“Friendly staff, the order was exactly right. Sauce and all, fries were hot but salty, cheese curds were warm but cheese was solid inside. The butter burger was just plain cold. Wrapped it up to eat when we got home and the cheese was cold, never melted at all, not even in the middle. It’s a shame the burger was cold because the service was great. *Martinsville store”

“We come here occasionally. We like local small business over big chains. Tonight the spaghetti sauce was way off from normal, but the pizza was good like usual. Definitely a nice quiet place to bring the family. The different ice cream flavors out of the machine is pretty good too.”
