“The pan fried Gui Chai Dumplings as an appetizer was delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauce is a savory sweet sauce. I ordered the Paht Si-Ew noodles with veggies and egg. The noodles were definitely home made, delicate, very wide, great texture that I haven't had anywhere else. The dish was fragrant and fresh made. Veggies were well cooked with a slight crunch, I'll definitely come back for more. Service was great. Food is consistent.Vegetarian options: You can definitely ask for no egg or no meat, he sometimes even double checks to make sure you want egg when you order vegetarian options.“
“I have never been to the Merrillville location. We had a large party of 14. The prices on the lunch menu are very reasonable in today's economy. Food was great, I ordered filet mignon, steak was very tender and tasted wonderful. Our chef was talented and very professional, the service was great..I loved this place.“
“The atmosphere is simplistic, not necessarily a bad thing though. My 5yr old daughter and I went for a post school/work day meal and it was exactly what we needed on this cloudy day.Even though we ordered small bowls it was so much we ended up taking a lot home. Very rich and delicious ?. The veggies were crispy and fresh. Lacking on the meat though. Next time I will double my shrimp. The service was phenomenal! I didn't get their names but 2 younger gentlemen waited on us and they were really hospitable. I appreciated the frequency they checked on us and their smiles were really charming. My daughter even wanted to tell them personally how yummy the coconut drink was ? we definitely will be back.“
“Everything you expect from a mall food court Chinese. A 2 entree combo no drink is $11 bucks. Yes, like all mall places if you get too close you will be forced to take a piece of their fried in sweet glaze chicken on a toothpick. The food was fresh when we went at 1pm.“
