“This was my first time at the Munster El Salto Location, & I was very impressed! From first pulling in the parking lot, I saw that it was a popular spot to dine on a Saturday night! ? The staff was so friendly and nice, & they seated us quickly. The decor in the restaurant was unique & inviting. The crowd was so diverse; all races and ages were out having a good time. We ordered frozen margaritas, queso fundido for the appetizer, & fajitas for our entrées. Everything was delicious, & I left with plenty of leftovers for the next day ? I'd definitely return for another visit! ????“
“I ordered a John's sausage pizza for pick up. The pizza was ready for me when I arrived. John's offers a unique pizza cut. The sausage was crumbly, spicy and generously topped on the pizza. The pizza crust was amazing.I grew up on John's pizza when I lived in the Calumet region. My family usually visited other locations....Hammond and Calumet City. It's probably been 15 years since I last had John's. I picked up the pizza pictured and it was the same quality as the pizza I grew up on. Munster's John's did not dissappoint. I would recommend John's to family and friends. I'll visit this location again the next time I'm in town. John's is a gem in the Calumet Region.“

Most people just park and go in, place order (large selection on overhead board), pay cash ( ATM machine available since they only take cash)wait approximately 10 minutes get your order. Several choices of cocktail sauces. Sodas also available. We always order the 1lb of jumbo shrimp!! It's the best I've had! Light breading, very large, cooked to perfect Do it every time, very consistent! Although there's always a steady stream people constantly walking in, they're very fast and always pleasant. My trips average 10 mins every time!“
“Hosted a small family and friends luncheon (31 people) with a set menu (Chicken Marsala). For five of the younger kids had the Kids Meal -- they loved the Kiddie Cocktails! We arrived 45 minutes early and the staff reacted toget things moving right away. Very accomodating! My wife and I will definitely go back for dinners and will also consider for future family events.Vegetarian options: Don't recall the details of the vegetarian offering but the vegetarian in the family was pleased.Kid-friendliness: Had the patience of Saints with accomodating the young ones!“
