The staff was so friendly and nice, & they seated us quickly. The decor in the restaurant was unique & inviting. The crowd was so diverse; all races and ages were out having a good time. “The women at the drive thru her name started with an “L” I believe. I cannot remember her name. She was African-American though, with glasses. I believe a bun in her hair. But man was she so well mannered and very respectful. She was no nice and friendly. We had a BIG order and she was very patient. Brought our food out at the drive thru and we met her half way. She even brought us plates and silverware for us to enjoy our food. She is definitely the type of person to own her own location someday. Very humble and polite.“

The ambiance is "old school", and I think that's what makes it feel a little special when we go there for date night. His favorite is the special steak with the dipping butter, (even though he's a porterhouse guy, this steak is his go-to at Livios), and the dish I can't get enough of is the mushroom ravioli. The pizza crust was amazing.I grew up on John's pizza when I lived in the Calumet region. My family usually visited other locations....Hammond and Calumet City. It's probably been 15 years since I last had John's. I picked up the pizza pictured and it was the same quality as the pizza I grew up on. Munster's John's did not dissappoint. My husband, who loves salmon but hesitates to order it out, was very happy with his choice of the Faroe Island salmon.
