“Have been here a couple times and each time we have picked up. Always super friendly which is rare now a days anywhere, and the food has always been on point. They even give you napkins, silverware, & ketchup packets. The location looks clean and you can see they clean and upkeep the equipment they use. Def recommend, also quick service.“
“It is a shame that I have slept on this place for so long. It is literally right down the street from my house and I’ve never been here until today. Food was amazing. Staff was so friendly nice Atmosphere. Will definitely be back. PS: The fries are “
“Most of the time it seems just a little bit underdone and by the next time we eat it, it tastes fine. This time.... Perfectly cooked!! Thought my fingers were a little dark but the ?it's self tasted?, and the garlic bread knots..?loved them!“
“Their gyros are really delicious but not as delicious as the Italian beef! The meat was chopped up perfectly fine and marinated so soft and delectable. I just hate they forgot my Italian sausage in the combo and they could use some crinkle cut fries instead of those thin Shoe string fries, but the fries are always hot and fresh.“
“Food was incredible, so incredible that I took a moment to speak directly with the kind woman working the register (Mari, I believe) who informed me that everything lovingly homemade on site. I got the souvlaki platter, 2 people in my party had gyros, and one person had stuffed cabbage. Everything was amazing Portions are good and the prices are right. The retail side is awesome too- this is where you should come if you're looking for Vegeta, phyllo, spanikopita, or any number of other authentic ingredients ! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Call in your order ahead if you can, to avoid waiting for a home cooked meal which takes a little extra time.“
“Nice place for breakfast on the Chicago-to-Indy run. After hustling thru the tri-state and the always nasty I-80-94 corridor, this is a hospitable spot less than 10 minutes off the main drag to take a break. If you can, find a window seat where you can look out and enjoy the view of the Old Lake County Courthouse on the town square. The restaurant is mid-block on the East side of the square.“
“Just take my money lolTried once for a friend’s bday in February and I’ve been hooked since! Their Greek salad is amazing! Lamb skewers are my favorite and let’s not talk about their Gyros!!! Just ordered their Gyro special for lunch. Did I mention their customer service is top tier?! Y’all got me as a customer for life!!“
“I was in town for business and wanted to try an authentic gyro, so I stopped by Munster Gyros. I was not disappointed! The gyro was phenomenal! The service was also great. Sad I can't find this in Texas. I'd be visiting every week! I'll be back the next time I am in the area.“
“Always a pleasure to visit The Great Greek Med Grill! Food is delicious and flavorful and the staff have always been super kind and attentive. Many times, I order ahead and it’s always ready to go while tasting super fresh! Lamb Slovakia is my favorite!Parking: Parking is usually available all the time“
“Amazing Food and Service, the Woman at the cashier is super friendly, the staff on the kitchen is super fast and professional.. food is amazing especially the Hometown Burger!! Wow! Place is Super clean..great place to eat! Merry Christmas ?“
“Great place for good fast food..cashier greeted u with a smile very knowledgeable of menu..prices are super affordable..I will be back with the family..they have lemon rice soup daily..my favorite soup..get back to neighborhood joints that's where it's at.. fresh wholesome food u can smell coming thru the door and outside the “
“Excellent service, waitress was pretty fantastic! Best Potato ? soup ? ever, except the Soup ? was warm not hot like it should be served. My Sauteed Pike fish ? Entrees was good but the Greek potatoes laked seasons. Otherwise the Senior menu has a variety of Entrees to try from except the specials. I'll be back again too give it a try.“
“It's a good little American style food eatery. I had a gyro, and it was basically your average gyro, which is to say still good. ?The price was average. All around the experience was average. The service is very good, though, with very friendly staff.“
“This place is now under new owners I have gone there for over 20 years. Service is slow because they cook fresh food. Yes they have had some of the best gyros in town. I have been there recently under the new owners and found them providing good service and good food. This is not the typical fast food place.“
“Food is usually good, I get the chicken tenders and my guy gets the gyro plate. If you order anything extra, I would definitely check your bag for what you ordered before you leave. Its not usually in there and you have to tell them you paid for “
“This place is one of your typical Northwest Indiana, classic Greek owned diners. You hungry? you come in and order from the 5 page staple NWI menu and get yourself a sandwich, fries, and bowl of lemon rice soup. Place has been there for decades and likely not going anywhere for decades more.“
“The waitress Angelina was awesome! We were a group of 12, and she made sure we had everything we needed and everyone's order was correct. The salad was fresh and crispy vegetables. The lemon rice soup is so good. My husband ordered the Greek porkchops, which he raved about. I ordered the chicken marsala, and it was also delicious. We will definitely be returning and requesting Angelina for our waitress.“
“I had been looking for a Greek restuarant that served lamb shank over orzo rice and Nisi simply nailed the flavors and textures. The cabbage roll appetizers were also on point, can't believe they had two of my favorite dishes in one place and made excellently.“
