“We had a group of 6 from Michigan I am sure the staff will remember us!!! We were in town for a race at Brownstown Speedway. We had so much fun when we were there Friday night that we went back on Saturday night. Food was great, service was just as good. THE STAFF THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!! We will be back for sure.“

“One of the best drive-in's I've been to in the state of Indiana. From the road, it doesn't look like much, but everything about the experience was great! We all got the tenderloin (one of them was the Ms. Pig, a double) and they were amazing. They're not the thin ones that we're used to, they're thick and hand-pounded and very fresh. The shakes were also phenomenal. The staff were also very friendly. At one point we were the only people in the lot, and the waitress and who I believe was the owner stood in the lot to talk to us as we ate. Will definitely stop by again the next time I'm through Seymour“
“Buffet. Food was hit or miss. Fried chicken was fantastic. Mashed potatoes dry and tasteless. Fresh carved roast beef and ham. Salad bar was great, but the lettuce was weirdly wet. I didn’t try the desserts but they looked great and were plentiful. Dated atmosphere. My table was broken.“
“Rails is a neat, small railroad themed pub and brewery in the historical city of Seymour Indiana, just off of US 50. The Cod dinner that I ordered tonight was excellent! The two filets of fish were a decent size with great taste and the pricing is reasonable. The service staff was friendly, tentative and caring. And all of the railroad decals were cool! It is a nice little “train” stop eatery in Southern Indiana! I recommend this place to others and I will definitely be back! ??“
“First time here and we just happened to score half price pizza! Not only was this a great deal, the pizza was delicious! Everyone was super friendly and you could feel the small town charm. Good cold beer went perfect with the pie. Cool vibes and good music. We will definitely be back.“

My family prays before meals, the staff are very accommodating and never interrupt! Cracker barrel is not even close!! We had a waitress at cracker barrel that Interrupted our prayer, then it took nearly 45 minutes to get DRINKS!!! Sunshine Cafe, y'all got it down to an art!!“

So, imagine Mel's Diner, half the footprint, twice the Love from the cooks and waitress/front staff than you can fit inside of a place this size - and you have the Townhouse Cafe. “Came in on a pretty slow night. We had Jason as our waiter. He was beyond nice and very attentive to us while juggling 3 other tables! He took the time to have a conversation with us and even got our order fixed when my wife didn’t like what she had ordered(she was trying something new). Please request Jason if you come here. “My mom and I love to visit Batar when we have the chance. It is surrounded by pine trees and a lush garden. On the inside it has a whimsical cafe vibe. The staff is always friendly. The food is always fresh. And their freshly brewed tea is always to die for. It is a unique experience and I highly recommend trying this place!“
