“Got the daily special it was the Chicken Fried Chicken, it wasn't the best chicken fried chicken I have ever had, but it was decent, it could be better if the gravy wasn't between cold and warm - I like my gravy to be hotter, not burning my tongue but definitely not feeling like my plate sat and my gravy lost it warmness. I also thought that I would get a bigger portion of chicken fried chicken at that cost and I asked if it was a lunch portion and they said no. Fries and green beans were great. The nachos with beef was good my wife said, I tasted one and the nachos were a bit soggy, I like my nacho chips to be a little more crispy. The service was mediocre, I had to wait a little longer to get a refill and some extra napkins, but they were busy during lunch. Although they are busy here's a hint if you are a waiter or watress if you pass by a table even if it isn't yours and you see a person's drink near the edge of table and not full maybe ask if you need a refill. I tipped the girl 20% but probably should have tipped 10% for the service. I tipped her 20% because she was really nice, but if I were management I would definitely look into this issue. You have a lot of staff and someone could have noticed my drink not even half way full.Lastly I want to say the atmosphere is great, lots to look at in the bar and you have friendly staff but service and food should be your top priority as a restaurant owner. When either of those are lacking it could keep people from returning.I don't live close by this restaurant and live in Western Shawnee so venturing out to your restaurant is a little out of my way so hopefully my next visit (Yes I will return with my family) will be better. I only dinged one star each for food and service, hopefully next time I can give 5 stars across the board.“

“Upon seeking a venue for a casual meal and a game of darts, a friend and I stumbled upon Knub’s Pub through a Google search, enticed by an older photo showcasing a dartboard. Despite discovering the board had been removed several years prior, we decided to give the place a try, drawn in by its collection of pinball machines. The staff exuded warmth and hospitality, adding to the establishment's cozy, hometown pub ambiance. While awaiting our table, we indulged in some classic pinball entertainment. The interior boasted predominantly booth-style seating, each equipped with its own TV and satellite box, fostering a personalized experience. We made plans to return for fight nights and Chiefs games, impressed by the atmosphere. Our meals, a Philly sandwich and a Beef’N Tater sandwich with fries, were served with the expected attention to detail, complementing the pub's vibe. Accompanied by their house-made steak and BBQ sauces, which were delightful additions, our dining experience was thoroughly satisfying. Of course, a well-stocked bar featuring a variety of domestic and craft beers on tap further enhanced our evening. As we settled our bills, we had the pleasure of meeting Cory, one of the owner operators, whose amiable demeanor left a lasting impression. I most definitely anticipate future visits, eager to share the experience with more friends.“

“We try to eat at 1866 at least once a week. Last night the food was excellent! I'd never ordered the Chef Salad before, so last night I tried it! It was AMAZING! The salad includes many things I usually don't have ready or on-hand at home. I had enough dressing and my husband even said it looked good! He had the fried fish and said it was excellent too! The wait staff was great! Thank you!“

“We love coming to Austins for a happy hour, dinner, and/or to watch a game! It gets CROWDED at game times and on the weekends but theres a reason for that. The food is great (try the fajitas!). Its a bit pricier than other local bar and grills but you do get a lot for what you pay for. We had a ladies happy hour recently and the drink specials were great. It was a chilly spring afternoon but the heaters on the enclosed patio were helpful. We've always had superb service as well and will be back for sure!“

“Hamburger's were big and cooked as ordered. Mushroom's were very good. As were onion rings, all food was still hot at the table. Beer was cold and mixed drink's were made correctly. Service was outstanding. I would definitely be back, if i wasn't visiting.“

“We picked up food here. Got a tenderloin and fish sandwich. The tenderloin was huge! Big enough for 2 sandwiches. The fish sanwhich was really good except parts of it were over fried. Portions where amazing! The twister dip was good too! Season your chips though! They were bland. Overall 4 out of 5 stars!“

“We happened to be driving from Colorado to Maryland on Christmas day when we came across this little gem. The people at Beer 30 were super welcoming and invited us to play in their reindeer games. Definitely recommend stopping in to say hi. They even sent us on our way with a hoverball to remember them. Thanks for an amazing break in our drive.“
