“A year ago I gave this Perkins 1 star. The service was crappy along with the food. But, after revisiting this morning I give 5 stars all the way across the board. The food was tasty. But, what really made it such a good experience was Ane (I hope I spelled that right) out server. SHE WAS PHENOMENAL! She hit every step in serving and took such good care of my daughter and I. You don't even find this good of service at the finest steak houses or country clubs. She is prolly one of the best servers I have ever seen in the industry!“

“Just like every Daylight Donuts I have visited. It is a simple and decent donut shop. Nothing super special, but definitely not bad either, in my humble opinion. One thing that may potentially separate this location from others is that, in our experience, the service was great! Good employees, good attentiveness to our needs!!Parking: Currently, there aren't a lot of neighboring businesses, and the old Price Chopper building is still vacant since they relocated down the street, so there is tons of available parking.“

“Purchased 1/2 doz cookies, all different flavors for family in town. We shared them and all were a hit! So flavorful but not overpowering. It’s like eating grandma’s homemade cookies. What a great local business. Would be an excellent way to send a thank you, especially from business to business. #supportlocal“

“There is often a short line , but these service is prompt, so you don't wait long. Love the cake, old fashioned and pine cones. Not a fan of the Apple fritter. Ambiance is standard donut shop. Good coffee too. I'll stop her in the regular...“
“I requested a custom graduation cake for my son who finally finished college. The design was a quirky design with Squidward from SpongeBob. You absolutely nailed it and my son loved the cake. It was a white cake with chocolate filling and the cake was so moist and flavorful. Thank you for the amazing cake!“
“Our Taco bar for my daughters wedding was excellent! Josh was very accommodating on arrangements and menu changes - he made the process so easy. Becky set up and handled the entire thing on the wedding evening. I didn't worry about a thing! We had lots of compliments on the food itself and people thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you.“
“The word pan translates from Spanish to English as bread, so this is a Mexican bakery that also happens to offer Mexican favorites including street tacos (with eight meat options and birria), quesadillas, burritos, tortas, huaraches, doraditas, sopes and tamales. My three pastor street tacos ($2.00 each) included a generous amount of moist and tasty meat on fresh, double layer, 4.5" tortillas with onions, cilantro, pineapple, lime wedges and three delicious salsas. My order was ready 14 minutes after I ordered at the counter, where the service was cheerful. I noticed a clean, basic interior with a small seating area and Mexican background music. I liked the reasonable price and the tasty tacos, but the menu did not include prices (must ask at the counter or receive mystery prices) and the staff were inefficient. Also, I must note that this business has had problems in the past because they have not always observed their posted business hours, but they opened at the posted time the day of my visit. Overall, I'm thinking 3.5 stars and rounding up for the great food.“

“A very cozy and beautiful local coffee shop in the downtown of Gardner, Kansas. It is located in a very old and historic building. Wood floors and a decorative ceiling make you feel like you are stepping back into time somewhat. Every time I come inside it has a great aroma of coffee in the air (as you’d expect). I ordered the iced brown cow and it was really good. Not too sweet and also not too heavy on coffee. The chocolate chip muffin was just okay. It wasn’t anything special honestly, but this is a coffee shop after all and not a bakery so that’s alright. Maybe you’d enjoy them more than I did. I recommend stopping here if you enjoy old buildings and good coffee. It’s also a local business unique to the city of Gardner and I go to these establishments over Starbucks or any other chain. They are just so much better at everything.“
