“This is a wonderful place to support local. The food is fresh and delicious. The proprietor is very friendly. He is informative about the food and its mediterranean origins. I recommend the yellow rice it is Slightly aromatic but not overpowering. The tzatziki sauce is delicious and fresh. The salad is super amazing. The steak is tender. I got a mixed plate and the meats were flavorful. It also comes with a delicious hummus, which I highly recommend. It is creamy and excellent. They make the food fresh as you wait and it is worth it. “Went in to shop tonight, wasn't having the best of day. Bill D was helping and chatting with a family that brought actual tears to our eyes while we walked out. The mother was hearing impaired and he was speaking to the young kids and counting numbers with them. And then he asked the young child to thank her mother for letting him count numbers with them . Seeing the smiles on the whole family and on Bill D's face was the most heart warming moment. People like him restore our faith in humanity.“

“100/10 recommend, seriously. Karen usually has on a hand a nice variety of goodies. Her banana pudding is sensational and the cupcakes..?. She also has chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos and usually a Bundt cake or three. We also had Karen make us a cake and cupcakes for my sons baby shower, and they all came out phenomenal...I didn't even get a cupcake that day they went so fast! “The Berry Patch has rows and rows of beautiful blueberries ripe for picking. I mean, you know, if you go at the right times. And you'll know if the picking is good by following their socials. They post daily picking reports so you can judge whether or not it's worth the drive. We went on a very good picking day, in the evening, and picked just over 3 lbs of berries in no time. I only wish I needed more because it was such a satisfying activity. The farm was easy to find. Google Maps led me there with no issues. We arrived at ample parking space. Staff handed us a bucket and directed us to the currently available picking rows. We then walked all the way to the back of rows 1-3 and found a bevy of berries. After the gathering, we went back to the beginning and headed inside the little store where the berries were weighed and paid for. Fresh berries are a MUST in the summer and these were quite literally the freshest! I made jumbo blueberry muffins and a blueberry-topped cheesecake and they were delicious. The Berry Patch is so worth the effort.“
“I started the morning at this McLain's Market location. The inside is stunning, fitted out with lots of tables and chairs, and some bar seating. When you walk in, the line to order is right in the front located near the grab-n-go drinks and food. Ordering is easy and the staff are all incredibly friendly. If you order coffee, it'll be made over at the coffee bar. I ordered my typical iced vanilla latte and classic croissant. I'll definitely be back!“

“Not sure why I haven't eaten here in all the years I've worked at Sprint Campus and lived in the area but some coworkers and I decided to go for lunch here the other day and I cannot wait to go back. We got there around 11:45 to beat the rush. There was some disruptive construction in the parking lot when we first arrived but fortunately they went on their lunch break at noon. We took in the yummy looking desserts and put in our orders at the counter. I got the pick 2 with a chicken salad sandwich and the signature salad. I also picked up one of their famous cranberry orange cookies. My two colleagues ended up getting the prepared pick 2 lunch boxes. I was a little worried since they had to make mine fresh and that I'd be waiting while my colleagues ate but my food came out from the kitchen as they were just unwrapping all their lunch parts. I'm a freak for chicken salad and this one was one of the best ones I've had in ages. And the focaccia was still warm. My colleagues were saying that they wished the focaccia in their sandwiches were warm, but the boxes came straight from the cooler. The salad was also super tasty. And the portion was PERFECT for lunch. My colleagues' boxed lunches came with a sandwich, salad and a small sugar cookie. They really enjoyed theirs too. And now to the cookie, which I took with for an afternoon snack. HOLY COW! It was incredible. So citrusy and a beautiful texture. I also love that they use fresh cranberries, rather than craisins. Adds a lovely juicy texture to the already soft cookie. Can't recommend enough! For folks who haven't gone, there's maybe 10 tables and only 2 for more than 4 people so keep that in mind if you are looking to dine in.“

“Mary's Mountain Cookies has a huge variety of different types of cookies. They had options that I have not seen at other cookie shops. The staff were inviting and gave us different recommendations. I had the chocolate and peanut butter cookie. The cookie was flat and bigger than my hand! I would recommend to those who are looking for fun and different cookie options!“
