“This is an excellent brewery in KC! Not only is this the first black-owned brewery in KC, but they partnered with black artists for the artwork and decor. The brewery is located inside a historic building off of Vine Street and they have a huge outside beer garden! They also have live music which is awesome. They have seating for small or big groups. We came here for an office HH and were able to enjoy the nice weather and sit large groups of people together. The staff is super nice and helpful when trying to figure out what you want to order. They also make an in house bubbly water, which I love! This is a must-try for all beer lovers and non-beer lovers as the space is so cool! They also have a bookshelf of games to enjoy while sipping on your drinks. 100% recommend!“

“BKS makes the best IPAs I've ever had. Although IPAs are my favorite, they also make a variety of other beers that are just as good. It's a small, hometown feel spot with wonderful staff. They allow dogs which always brings a smile to everyone's face - they even have a Pivot Project line named after the owners sweet doggie who visits often! You've gotta stop on in!“

“There's not question... five stars all day every day! We moved here last year and were ELATED to find out we moved within walking distance to Sandhills! The atmosphere is so chill and welcoming, it makes you want to go back week after week! The selection of beers is excellent. They always have a great range of strengths from kolsch all the way up to stouts or double IPAs. They also have great limited releases that keep us going back.“

“Great tour! Very informative and interesting. They give you 2 5 oz beers along the way and then 2 more after where you get a wide variety of choices of lots of drinks. I am not a beer drinker but still had a great time. At the end I found drinks that were great and not beer. Totally worth the $10.“

“I fell in love with this micro-brewery on my first visit! Since then, I've been a few times, and Boho Brewing has yet to disappoint. I love this place for many reasons. The service is always top-tier and the owners are absolutely incredible. I inquired about hosting a 30th surprise birthday party here, and they were not only extremely accommodating, but I feel like they went out of their way to ensure we all had a great time. They were so helpful and communicative in the process leading up to the event, and helped ensure the surprise party was a success! THE BEER IS LIKE TOTALLY SO GOOD. I love experimenting with micro-breweries and craft beer, and Boho Brewing is nothing short of delicious! I've tried many of their brews, and haven't had a bad yet. My personal favorite is their Kölsch- it's absolutely delicious (and actually tastes like a Kölsch)! Another thing I love about Boho Brewing is its atmosphere. While there isn't a ton of indoor seating, they've got a great bar area and there always seems to be just enough open indoor tables when I'm there. There is plenty of family-friendly outdoor seating. It's in a perfect location for the kids to play outside while the adults can hang out at the picnic tables. Additionally, they allow you to order outside food to bring in while you are there. “So many good things happening here! I am not a beer drinker ? but took my husband for a birthday date. I have to say I did really like the cherry cider and appreciated that they had a non alcoholic option that was served just like all their other drinks. Also the plant lover in me was all about checking out all their spider plants and big beautiful babies everywhere! We found a big comfy couch to chill on while ordering food on the iPad at the door for the BBQ place next door. And the best part is in the cold those sweet people brought our yummy food to us at the brew house! They also have a corner of kids toys like cars and board games! Overall the service was great and we really enjoyed this sweet spot!“
“Yummy beers, but it’s Saturday night and there are only 4 other people in the bar with us. We’re having a good time playing cards, but if you’re looking for atmosphere, I’m not sure if this is the place for you. Kind of surprised that it isn’t busier because the beer is good, the place is clean and welcoming, lots of comfortable seating and a friendly bartender. There’s even a space for little ones to play if you were here for more of a social gathering.“
“I served in the Navy and I’ll salute this West Point grad for what he does. The name is for the red sash some leaders wear at West Point (GO NAVY!). This is good beer with a good selection. Veterans get 20% off and are asked to sign the wall. The staff is super friendly and the location is right in the middle of a stretch of breweries. Definitely a spot to go to and I recommend the Tropic Lightning (named for the 25th Infantry Division). Get on down there and drink a beer!“
“I love this place! I do not drink, but I love live music! This is a cigar shop, a full service bar, a smoking lounge, and a venue all in one very well packaged establishment. The venue room is separated from the rest of the facility. There is plenty of room to sit in comfortable seating, have a great smoke with a diet soda or water, and watch live music on Fridays and Saturdays.I recommend it for a music lover like myself that absolutely hates bars and alcohol.If you hate smoke, well then obviously this is not the place to go!“
“Spent the afternoon with Ryne at the brewery after getting into KC! Service was incredible, easy to talk with and very helpful to guide us around town and have recommendations for the city. With all that said- the beer was INCREDIBLE. Hard to find a Pale Ale that I like that still has flavor but low ABV and their “beer with no name” is one I will be definitely coming back for! All their beers we tried were fantastic, my husband loved their flagship IPA! We stuck around for 3 beers for the deliciousness of the beer, the environment, and good company / service! We will be back within a day or 2!They also are close to a lot of delicious food stops so we picked up food and brought it in! Thanks for the beers and your guys’ time!“

“My office had a party at Border Brewing with about 60 attendees. Eric was super easy to work with, did not slam us with huge event fees, and the bartenders were exceptional. This place isn’t your typical brewery with a choice of super hoppy IPA or 14% stout. They have great IPAs and heavier beer but they also have a wide variety of lighter beers to please anyone’s taste. Drinks were full all night and our entire group had a blast. Can’t thank these guys enough.“
