McLain’s Market was the PERFECT place for my sister’s baby shower! The staff was so responsive and helpful, and the food was delicious! I’d highly recommend them for your private events.
My go-to spot in Lawrence during my college years and after! Love going for a mimosa and brunch on the weekends (my personal favorite off the breakfast menu is the market bowl with ham--sooo good), and I also find myself there at least once during the week for a cortado and salad while I work. Very study-friendly with lots of outlets, the food and coffee are always delicious no matter what I get, and I feel like everyone there always has smiles on their faces. I have ordered 5 birthday cakes and many cupcakes from McLain’s for my children’s birthday parties in the last 3 years. They are always beautiful, exactly how I ordered them & delicious! The guests at our parties always compliment the cakes! I will continue to order cakes for all of our birthday parties to come! This particular birthday party was a tea party so I also purchased a mini dessert sampler & mini cheesecakes and they were amazing too!
