“I stumbled upon this place on a Saturday morning before a KU football game as they had a sign up for $2.50 breakfast tacos, and I sure am glad I decided to pop in. The breakfast tacos are some of the best I've had in the area, and the salsa they have accompanying it is spectacular. The service was friendly; will definitely be coming back.“
“I wished I tried Twisted Fresh in Lawrence sooner. My sister-in-law asked us to try it so we did. OMG, I had the Baja Shrimp Tacos and I was blown away. Those girls who work there prepared our meal quickly and the tacos were freaking awesome. I have ate there three times in the past week and can't get enough of those tacos. I tried the Mahi Mahi tacos and they are great also but my favorite is the shrimp tacos. You will not be disappointed if you try them. And they have a fair selection of brews also which really compliment the food. I am a regular customer now! Awesome!“
“This was my first time here and I was blown away. I got the chili rojo beef and sweet potato nachos. They were amazing on their own, but the hot sauce that came on the side was like a spicy cherry on top. And the margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had! Well done!“

I got the California burrito, which was smothered in this creamy queso sauce and served with a bean of choice (I chose refried) and rice. Boy, it made me full (in a good way!)“
