“Finally, a good Chinese restaurant that isn't too far! I had two other places I used to go to that aren't good anymore, but China Chef is delicious!

I've been twice now, once for the beef and broccoli, and once for the sweet and sour chicken. Both were very good.

“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!“

“Andrew and his team in the Market Grill are amazing! We came in on Saturday to feed our football team in between games and they did not disappoint! Food was fresh and tasted great. They let us spread out in the top seating area so our kids and families could sit and eat comfortably while we warmed up from the freezing rain and cold. Highly recommend them and will plan on stopping again the next time we play football nearby!“

“We drove in to KC for another restaurant that was closed unexpectedly. We came to this restaurant based off of the Find Me Gluten Free reviews. We both had the gluten free General Tso’s Chicken and rice noodles. My wife added a soup that was not gluten free and the waitress was quick to identify it, which I was thankful for even if my wife doesn’t have to eat gluten free like I do. To me, that says they are knowledge snd looking out for my safety. The food was delicious and fresh. We will be back and encourage others to give them a try.“

“Stopped in for a solo dinner. Had a great experience. This is a classic Chinese restaurant, from the enormous menu of classic Chinese dishes to the decor. While it all seemed vintage in a way, everything was well-kept and in good condition. \n\nThe staff could not have been nicer. Service was so welcoming, and everything was served with efficiency. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable, making this place a bargain for the quality.\n\nFood was excellent. An egg roll was crisp on the outside and had flavorful fillings that had good texture. Chicken chop suey (hard to find these days!) was wonderful, with moist chicken and crunchy water chestnuts and other veggies in a sauce that was just the right thickness.\n\nA wonderful little spot in downtown Overland Park, worth a visit for anyone who appreciates a local business that's a classic Chinese spot.“

“I don’t understand why this place isn’t packed every night. We were the only eat-in patrons the entire time we were there. But they seemed to have a great take out part.

We were pleasantly shocked how good the food was. My Hubster order Egg Drop soup and Cashew Chicken. I ordered Wong Ton soup and Chicken Lo Mein. My Hubster enjoyed my Wong Ton soup while I enjoyed his, because I’d stupidly forgotten I am allergic to red meats ((totally my fault!))

We shared our entrees — they both were absolutely superb! Flavorful sauces on both… very generous with the noodle on my plates and the chicken was abundant on the plate,too
His was full of cashews and mixed traditional Chinese veggies, with a heaping load of yummy chicken. We ate about half our dinners, then boxed it to go.“

“I went for the dim sum and was not disappointed. It was easy to order, the staff was very friendly and fast. It was my first time so I tried multiple dishes and enjoyed all of them. The steamed pork buns were my favorite—they were soft and pillowy, like eating a cloud. Everything tasted fresh. And when I asked for a to-go box, she even brought me a to-go cup for my tea.“

We had come from another location that did not hold up to the Panda Express expectations and they completely turned it around and made us returning customers. They went out of their way to make us fresh food and gave us a complimentary drink for having to wait (which we didn’t mind at all) they were friendly , full of smiles and went above and beyond for their customers. The location was very clean and in well kept condition!! We came to this location with low expectations and left with higher expectations huge smiles and a wonderful dinner. We will only be coming to this location from now on. All it takes is good customer service, a kind interaction and a willingness to come to work and do it with compassion and these two 100% did that !! Thank you both for turning a disappointing experience into a wonderful experience!! You both deserve a raise because I know if you helped us this way then you are wonderful to all your customers !!
