“Definitely has been the most consistent food for I have had in Kansas. I eat at least once or twice a week. I get the house fried rice, spicy, no pork, and add jalapeños. The owners are very pleasant and have always treated me like family.“

You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!“

They let us spread out in the top seating area so our kids and families could sit and eat comfortably while we warmed up from the freezing rain and cold. “My wife and I found this place back in 2011, when we lived a few blocks away... but still drive across town to enjoy their food. Some of the best Chinese we've had in KC in this price range. Atmosphere is only a half-notch above your typical strip mall fare, but service is always great, and the food is consistently good.

UPDATE: We stopped by last week after a long time (we live on the other side of town)... food is still excellent. Talked to the owner for a bit, and it's obvious she and her husband are working very hard to take care of their customers.“

“Went today (Tuesday) afternoon, very quiet and calm :) The woman who rung us up and brought out our food was very polite! We ordered egg fried rice, thai curry noodles with chicken, shrimp, and beef, and shrimp with broccoli (comes with white rice btw). We got our food very quick and it was delicious! Portions are large enough to be satisfying but not so large that leftovers are more than one meal (only about 1/3rd of my food here became takeout). Very clean and wonderful establishment, I wish I lived in the area so I could eat here more often.“

“One of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been too. The staff is super attentive. Great selection of food in an upscale atmosphere. But this also comes with an upscale price. The food is good but at a premium price for what it is. We tried 3 dishes beef and vegetables, triple delight and pad Thai. The first two were 8 out of 10, hot fresh and delicious. However, truly some of the worst pad Thai I've had. The flavor was fine but the texture resembled mush. Normally you can definitively see the noodles. This was lumpy, mushy and wasn't good. Would go back for any item other than the pad Thai. Plenty of parking, relaxing environment.“
