“I've ordered a jackhammer multiple times at multiple locations. At other locations, the 2nd topping goes all the way down the center. Multiple times, this location has only put the second topping on the top. kind of defeats the purpose of a jackhammer if you don't do it correctly. oh, and the bottom 1/3 of my custard was completely vanilla (no toppings whatsoever!)“
“After finally trying this place out today, I can't believe the negative reviews I'm seeing. The staff were very friendly, and both items I tried were delicious. I had the tropical smoothie first. It was so refreshing and delicious, I think because they don't put too much sugar in it. I also had a scoop of ice cream. Had to try it because they are all homemade. Again, not as sweet as most ice cream that I'm used to. I really enjoyed it, and I will be going back for sure.“

“This Sonic drive-in is the best sonic I have ever had the pleasure to order from. I live locally, I used to work just down the street. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The service staff is always friendly and attentive. From patience and kindness while taking orders, to smiles and greetings at the car window, the car hops are A+! The drinks are 9/10 correct and if they are ever wrong the car hops are quick and friendly to mix a new cherry coke for me no questions asked. The ice cream is always generous with toppings or mix-ins and assembled with care.Now. The food.The food is ALWAYS hot, fresh, IMMACULATE. Fried products are crisp not greasy, never stale or cold. The burgers are amazing and always seem to be assembled cleanly and wrapped tightly without smashing the bun! The hot dogs are always juicy and pop when you bite into them.No, I'm not a food critic, I'm just the guy down the street. Wether it's DoorDash, or ordering from your car this sonic keeps me coming back because they are flawless. This fact has made me come back so many times I can confidently say I have tried everything at least once on their menu and have enjoyed everything. This is easily one of my top 5 restaurants in the 20 mile radius, and not just any sonic. THIS SPECIFIC SONIC. You guys are golden! The owner is very friendly he recognizes those that have been there before. Bright and cheery like an ice cream dessert place should. A definite must if you want a decadent treat. “This was a perfect little ice cream shop. There are plentiful flavors from which to choose, and my coffee/mint chip ice cream in a waffle cone was delicious, however the waffle cone could have had a bit more flavor. I'm always a fan of made in house ice cream, and seemingly from the crowded shop on a Friday in late March so is everyone else. Prices were appropriate for high quality ice cream, and if you have a family they have a six flavor flight so everyone can share.“
“Great gelato in downtown Shawnee! Cute little gelato shop with many flavor choices to choose from. My favorite is always the pistachio which is nice and luxuriously rich. Also had the chocolate dino flavor which has Oreo crumbs in it. Perfect summer treat for after dinner or just because. Definitely recommend stopping by!“
