“Very tasty bbq and proportions were huge. The parking lot was packed and had a hard time parking just to go in and get carry out. Someone had parked sideways taking up 2 spots, and someone else had a boat attached to their pickup. Can't do much about those things, I suppose. The focus should be on this wonderful BBQ? “

“We just moved to the area from Arizona. Originally born and Texas Boy. My daughter took us to this place. Tried the breakfast and lunch, this food took me back to TEXAS for sure. Great flavor authentic for sure. Lots of love goes into this small family owned joint like it should be. So two weeks later went back tried the barbacoa simply amazing. I said this gmail must have some ties to Texas. We met the owner Louise, great godly family man and fantastic food. Hopefully can collaborate soon as I’m bringing Texas Style BBQ to Kansas City! “I'm a Truck Driver from San Antonio, Texas passing through. Wanted to give Fronteras a try, and I am so glad I did! Everything was awesome! The salsas were fresh and flavorful (if you are feeling bold, try their, "hot" salsa. Its' heat will creep up on you after the freshness of the taste). My favorite was the green tomatollo salsa. I had the Aztec enchiladas, they were great! The cream cheese really kicked up the flavor of the steak filling. The establishment is super clean. The Staff are friendly. My Server, Morgan, was very friendly, efficient and took care of my needs quite well. I will definitely be back if I am in town again!“

Carmen, working the drive thru was so awesome. She was patient, super nice, funny, she even hyped up our order which made us pumped to get it. She was overall just a joyous person. “The BEST THAI FOOD we've ever had! Hands down. Bonus points...the staff are amazing, down to earth and enjoyable to be around, plus the whole atmosphere of the place is lovely. Had a drink while we waited for the food to be made. Lots of orders going out the door. This place is a hot spot for good eats. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pho, Treasure Bags, and more. “Hands down one of the best breweries we have been to. We are fans of supporting local, but not a huge fan of craft beers. Red Crow had a huge beverage menu that included lots of their seltzers, ciders, and even just mixed drinks.We came for their Disney trivia, and it was packed. By the time the game started, there was not a single open seat, and staff was limited. But the staff was not slow and they were so friendly!They also had some of the most reasonably priced food and drinks I've seen in a long time.Our group had the Dr. Pepper double burger, pork tacos, chicken sandwhich, chip dip trio, bruchetta dip, and sweet potato chips. No one had anything to complain about, and everyone left miserably full.Highly recommend coming to just grab some craft cocktails, great food, fun games or just to enjoy the atmosphere and good weather on days they have the garage doors open.“

“I want to share my family's experience at Big Biscuit Olathe on Tuesday, 3/19/24.My dad has Alzheimer's, and we recently moved him into full time care in Olathe. It's been an adjustment.My sister was in town from Colorado, and we decided to check Dad out for a few hours for brunch. We never know how public experiences will go. Sometimes Dad responds well. Others he gets agitated or overwhelmed. Sometimes servers and other patrons don't know quite how to respond to him. We all just kind of wanted, for an hour or so, to pretend that everything was normal, that we were just another family going out for a meal.This is where Matt comes in. Matt was our server, and he literally made our entire day. I may just be getting old, but Matt looked about 17. He was thin as a rail. He had glasses and a mullet. I won't lie, when he first walked up, I kinda steeled myself. Sometimes younger folk don't have the life experience to deal with older folk. Particularly when the older folk tell you the same joke over and over again or get confused by your questions. But I needn't have worried.Matt started out by introducing himself and making friendly banter. He quickly picked up on the fact that we aren't the type of family to stand too firmly on strict propriety, and seemed to let his hair down a little bit more.Now, my mom typically orders for my dad, as he can get overwhelmed by the options. So, most servers just sort of ignore Dad and talk directly to Mom. Not Matt. He started jokingly asking my dad directly what he wanted, if he was okay, and to "blink twice" if he needed to be rescued. Dad's sense of humor is very intact and laughter has always been a coping mechanism for us. It worked beautifully.Throughout the meal, Matt was delightfully and teasingly irreverent, but never inappropriately so. It's three days later, and I'm still grinning at the memory.Thank you so much, Matt! You made that outing something we'll talk about for a long time. We needed that badly.“

“Server and manager Dan were great!! It was prom night and we were able to get right in because of the reservation we made. Food was great! Service was excellent. Dan even helped us get a table for 6 for our daughter who had an issue with their reservations at another venue. We were called served quickly with great food. Thanks Red Door!“

“My favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Olathe. I have had an assortment of dishes here, and they were all delicious. Fajitas, Kansas Burrito, Carne Asada plate. The Chips and Dip is good, you can sometimes find a coupon for a free Queso Dip in one of the Valpak or other local flyers. There are only 2 draw backs when coming here. 1st, they are always very busy. Im not a big fan of crowds or being seated back to back against the next table and they try to pack those tables in there like sardines to service the most customers they can. 2nd is that the staff is not always friendly or even helpful when you have questions about a dish. But the food has always been excellent. Even on to go orders.“

“This place made me stop eating Domino's.I don't know how they did it but everything is on point and fresh!Pro's: Pizza crust is soft and flavorful,sauce is seasoned just right,bread sticks are soft and you have the option to make them EXTRA garlicky plus put toppings on them!Con's: You won't eat at your old favorite pizza joint again after you eat here.Conclusion: Pizza shuttle sets the bar with soft fresh crust, customization, and delicious pizza options like the Greek pizza (just to name 1). I hope they're standing above the others with their pay rates and opportunities for growth $ as well. They clearly have hard workers who care about the product because the perfect recipe doesn't make itself.“

“I stopped in for the first time on November 22, 2020, and I’m asking WHY didn’t I ever stop here before!? The food was great, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top notch! I opted for the duck with mixed vegetables, and not only was the duck cooked to perfection, the vegetables were expertly prepared. The mushrooms, in particular, were outstanding, as though they were treated like their own food group! I’m definitely returning, and if you haven’t stopped in for some of the best Chinese food, I strongly recommend you do so!“

“DATE NIGHT!First time ever trying this place.The food was amazing. Perfect amount of batter on fried mushrooms. Complimentary beans, cole slaw, and hushpuppies. All of which had great flavor, and was made fresh, not from frozen pre-made. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Catfish tasted very clean. All you can eat crab legs did not disappoint at all! Everything actually tasted amazing, which is hard too come by nowadays.Michael was our server. There was not one time that we had too wait for anything. He seemed too know what might be needed before we even asked. He even made sure he never reached across our food when bringing refills or taking away plates! (Wish other servers would learn this etiquette.) Although he was obviously busy with several large tables, he always made sure we were taken care of.Only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the atmosphere. I understand the idea they are going for with the taxidermy, ect. Having experience with them, I will say they are alot of work too upkeep. Mounts definitely need a good wiping down. Dirt and cobwebs put a negative spin on the fun atmosphere trying too be achieved here. Not my place, but can you imagine how much of an upgrade it could be with just a couple small adjustments? Replace old carpet with easy too clean hard floors , lighten up all the dark dingy wood with a coat of paint, and wipe down all the mounts. This place would be even more amazing than it already is.“

It was not as rich and flavorful as others I have tried. It had bits of chicken and carrots and was just OK.“
