“Walked in and was greeted immediately by a friendly waitress. My egg drop soup was on the table, hot, and delicious in less than a minute from placing my order. Just as I was finishing my soup, the poke bowl arrived. It was perfect! I would definitely come back for a quick bite anytime. Don’t expect a fancy “dress up” dining experience. It’s a clean and casual place to get a quick bite to eat. The quality is worth the $17 spent (+$6-tip).“

“The BEST THAI FOOD we've ever had! Hands down. Bonus points...the staff are amazing, down to earth and enjoyable to be around, plus the whole atmosphere of the place is lovely. Had a drink while we waited for the food to be made. Lots of orders going out the door. This place is a hot spot for good eats. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pho, Treasure Bags, and more. This place can accommodate vegetarian and gluten free dietary restrictions too. Fill-up foodies, it's worth it. We'll be back. HH“

“I stopped in for the first time on November 22, 2020, and I’m asking WHY didn’t I ever stop here before!? The food was great, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top notch! I opted for the duck with mixed vegetables, and not only was the duck cooked to perfection, the vegetables were expertly prepared. The mushrooms, in particular, were outstanding, as though they were treated like their own food group! I’m definitely returning, and if you haven’t stopped in for some of the best Chinese food, I strongly recommend you do so!“

“Based on my son's recommendation, we decided to try this Fortune Wok. We had a very good experience. Service was great, and portions were large. My only complaint was with the Egg Drop Soup. It was not as rich and flavorful as others I have tried. It had bits of chicken and carrots and was just OK.“

“Very nice staff, and the food was excellent. It's a smaller restaurant, but nobody in our party of 6 had anything but compliments. Not a lot of store front parking, but plenty in the area though. My family had already agreed we'll be frequenting this restaurant more in the future.“

“I love these types of Chinese stops that are small, non-buffet, and freshly made. Prices are reasonable and my take-out was finished in ten minutes as a walk-in on a busy Friday. Excellent! I'll add that I only order meatless dishes. The orange tofu, vegetable delight, and vegetable lo mein are my top picks. My husband loves the pork wontons.“

“Amazing! It's everything I wanted it to be. The hand-pulled noodles are magnificent!! I had the brisket and half round stir fried noodles. It was magical. My wife had the flat noodles with chicken, shrimp and beef. The manager came up to talk to us and find out what we thought. We loved it! We'll be back!“

“The prices are reasonable and they had great portion sizes! My pick up order was ready on time. I ordered the general Tso's tofu. The flavor was pretty good but it wasn't spicy to me. I'm excited to go back and find a spicier dish!“

“OMG! This is my second time eating the food here and it's perfect! Spareribs are juicy and not dry or overcooked like other places.Sweet and sour pork was crispy and tender. We have the spicy garlic beef a few nights ago and it tasted like garlic beef that was tender.I'm from Chicago so it's hard to find places that actually know how to prepare Chinese food. Lucky Star does it the way it's supposed to be.I highly recommend this place if you haven't been there yet. Go you won't be disappointed.“

“This place is fire. If they had more sushi, it would be 100/10 but let's not get greedy. The wallpaper is old and outdated which is exactly what I need to see when I come to a Chinese place. They have a fishtank full of sad obese fish which means the food will smack. Insane variety for the price, IMO price is best in area for what you get. Last time I went we had like 7 people on a busy day, and we got sat within 10 minutes. Screaming children running around the tables, a stamp of quality to every Chinese buffet. Ate so much I hated myself and lost 15 pounds the next month.“

“I ordered the Springfield Cashew Chicken with some eggrolls and Crab Rangoon. Overall the food was good, though there were two things that could have been done better:1. The sauce could have been packaged separately from the chicken, preventing it from becoming soggy.2. The sweet and sour sauce was cold. Not “sat on the counter for an hour” cold, more like “sat all day in the fridge” cold. This was definitely unexpected, and not in a positive way.Overall, a solid choice for Chinese food in Olathe.“

“Rice house is AMAZING! I have tried numerous things off of their menu - General Tsao's, Orange Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, Beef and Broccoli, Egg Drop Soup... it is all incredible. A lovely family owned business with delicious food. What's not to love?“

“I used to live 5 minutes away from this restaurant. Very unassuming but wow was I obsessed!! The Szechuan chicken is better than I have found in the 5 years since I've been there. I miss this place :(I'm writing this review 5 years later still thinking about the Szechuan chicken dinner specials. Glad to see you're still open & I will make a point to visit next time I'm in town!“

“All the food was so fresh and tasteful. The biggest crab rangoon we've ever seen. The cashew chicken was not overly saucy and so many nuts, big portions. The fried dumplings and sauce were so good. Egg drop soup was excellent. Highly recommended and we will be coming back!“
