Like this place a lot. It's just a hometown bar but the service is great and the food is great and if you sit in the right booth there's a loose spring that gives your rump of vibration and feels pretty good.
Okay, so, you aren't going here for the atmosphere. (Though I happen to enjoy it.) Total dive bar vibe. You go for the food. By god, the burgers are some of the best in Topeka. Hey, foodies - THEY MAKE their own BUNS and FRENCH FRIES and CHIPS! And they are delicious! We went once with our 6 year old and he now asks by name to go back here for the fries. Great little hole in the wall place that I can't believe I haven't visited sooner! A true Topeka staple. Great food and taps. We had the chicken gizzards which were cooked to perfection. The quarter pound burgers and home fries were very good also. Washed down with a shiner Bock rounded the evening out. Highly recommend for a nice time out!
