To start I’ve alway liked subway but our ashland store on Winchester is absolutely horrible, I stopped going there because of the horrible service or just poorly managed is more like it but recently I gave them a second chance and it was great and when I came back thinking maybe new management really wanting subway and it was horrible, there was a couple and one man in front of me and employees were more interesting In talking amongst each other then doing anything else.there were four total employees , one started my order walked off and I waited and waited then another customer came in and one of the employees started helping that customer while the woman that was helping me just stood there staring at me like she was confused. Anyway I’m glad I wasn’t on a lunch break or there wouldn’t have been a lunch at all!

The little manager has a serious attitude problem and needs a refresher course in customer service, the foreign woman with an accent is the worst! Always starring and giving people dirty looks, I swear she's racist toward people of color but she makes a decent sub. The blonde woman & head manager are the best all around. Good portions on subs and always have a warm & happy smile on their faces. The 2 stars are for them and them alone. The other two employees are a drain to see and communicate with. The store is always clean though too.

I don't recommend this Subway. If they mess up they will make it out ti be your fault!1) you literally never know what you are going to get. With food or service. I have had some wonderful subs and terrible subs. I have also had incredibly rude service who did not care and times when they were nice. But it's more negative then positive.2) I placed an online order. All 3 subs were to be toasted and Italian bread. Only one appeared toasted. If the others were they didn't appear to be due to being so soft. But instead of Italian bread we got wheat. Keep in mind this was an online order, made when we got there to get it. 1 was suppsed to have oil and extra vinegar. There was no oil or vinegar. It was suppsed to have LIGHT tomatoes but instead I got extra. I added photos. You can see by how dry everything is that there was no oil and extra vinegar amd the extra tomatoes.Another was supposed to have oil and vinegar but again none. They ran out of Italian bread and just decided to give me wheat without telling me.3) They treat you like a criminal when THEY made the mistake! When I called she treated me like I was lying. She yelled to the team saying "guys she's trying to say no one told her she was getting wheat bread!" No one told me! Why would i lie about that and then complain? Then she said I had to bring them back. I live on the other side of town and had been driving for a couple hours. So I told her I was not running down there TONIGHT. She said "well that's the only way we'll fix it". Didnt even offer to let me bring them down the next day. And considering they KNOWINGLY gave me the wrong bread without my permission the very least they could have done was allow me to come down on a day they had the correct bread made.I have my orders messed up all the time from most places. Because people dont care about the quality of their work even though we pay good money for our food. I never call. I have to really be upset to call. But when I do, this is how I'm treated? As though I'm lying when you KNOW what you did? No thank you. I don't enjoy Subway that much.

Last night (2/26/24) my nephew and I went in for dinner. The store was busy, but we were waited on in good time. The young lady that began our sandwiches, I believe her name was Maggie, was very friendly, professional, and courteous. The only older man, Ian, working with two young females was not only rude to me, but to the other girls as well. He claimed to be management, but real management does not chastise another employee without reason especially in front of customers. By the time this man helped us, he tried to rush us through and seemed as though he did not want to finish our sandwiches. I complemented Maggie to try to balance the situation, saying that she had done very well, and she had. At this point, I was ready to leave simply because of the way this "manager" acted not only towards myself but to those young ladies. Both ladies ( I did not get the other girls name) were working quickly and diligently and had a great handle on the situation. This "manager" was rude and aggressive in the way that he spoke, and honestly seemed to have more difficulty keeping up. If this is the way young women and customers are treated in this establishment, Ashland can do better than to frequent this business. There are other subway locations where this does not happen. An employee should not have to worry about going to work because they are harassed and humiliated by another employee. It's one thing to be rude to a customer, but to humiliate young employees in front of a store full of customers is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope both young ladies either find better employment elsewhere or this man is dealt with accordingly.Vegetarian options: salads and veggie sandwich options are available.

The new series sandwiches are my go to, highly recommend trying any of the Steak combinations, as well as the Beast if you're wanting something that's filling!

We ordered, in app, for delivery. It was quick enough. When we opened the bag, our 'yay lunch' turned to sadness. Sandwich one - correct with the exception of missing Genoa salami. Everything else is there, edible. Then sandwich 2. It has tuna written on it. We didn't order tuna, but peeked inside to verify what it was. It was the steak & cheese we ordered. Yay! Once fully unwrapped, it turns out it was a footlong steak & teriyaki soup bowl. It was ordered with light sauce. But no. It is defying the odds of science, surviving a trip to the house, and still literally swimming in the deep end of sauce. It doesn't have a sheen of tasty teriyaki, it has a full half inch that is just sitting on top, as the bread is already absorbed all it can, and every miniscule nook & cranny is full also. It's a full teriyaki flood. Again, it was ordered with light sauce. It isn't cut in half, because there was no way any employee could have cut it without a tsunami of teriyaki flooding the store. We get back on the app, to let the store know. A very generic email 24 hours later. They hold themselves to high food prep standards. Awesome....... but we still ended up with a disgusting sandwich that couldn't be eaten. Literally soggy, swamped steak floating in a bread bound lazy river.

I've lived in Ashland about a year and a half and so far I've not had a negative experience at this Subway yet. The food is always right if ordering ahead, always fresh, and always a good amount of toppings for the price. Employees are generally friendly and the store is always clean as well. I also like that it's one of the few places that is open for an extra hour compared to almost everything closing at 10pm around here. I lived in Lexington for a while and that's one thing I will never get used to lol.. everything is closed by 11pm, even Walmart and most gas stations besides Speedway. Anyways, good restaurant and like I said before, so far no bad experience !

Went yesterday to get a a personal pizza I wanted Flatbread and a salad only to get it home and have to cut everything up myself and also clean out the rotten Lettuce. For all the effort I had to put in it I could have made a much better salad at home for less. Not only did I have to cut everything up the veggies weren't ripe. Then the pizza was pitiful with next to no cheese 2 pepperoni and whole slices of green pepper. The dough was soggy and all around nasty. I took one bite and threw it away.
