“Ok, usually I do not like sushi. I have tried it at several places. Yes I keep trying it. My son likes shushi so we ordered Longhorn and Chop Chop I was so suprised I loved both of them. I can't wait to go back and try something different. Our server was awsome, on point, very helpful and very quick with a smile.“

“Was driving through the area, and this quaint little place caught my eye. It wasn’t super busy, so my family and I decided to check it out, and we are glad we did. Family of 6 was sat immediately, and we ordered the Vegetable Tempura and Shrimp Tempura. Both were fresh, decadent, and piping hot. Alongside this we received a delicious broth soup, which was definitely nice after the cold day.

Our sushi came out fast, and one bite in, we ordered more rolls. They have different platters and even a sushi boat, so we ordered the basic platter along with an Alaskan, 2 Californias, and 2 Caterpillars, as well as a Tiger roll. Incredible. The servers were kind and knowledgeable about the rolls, and the chef was so sweet. If you’re driving by, it’s definitely worth the stop.“

“Extremely courteous service. Food was served quickly and tasted very fresh. I recommend the teriyaki chicken. I also ordered a salad with sesame dressing. Everything came out well. Good sized portions, I could only eat about 1/2 of everything so you won't walk out hungry.“

“My mother and I ate here and had something called the pho soup. She had the chicken and I had the p3? It had meatballs and steak in it and was delicious. I added a little bit of spice, but not too much. The prices were decent and not too expensive. Service was a little iffy, not sure if it’s just the younger crowd as they were not very attentive at refills but were nice. Otherwise, we will be back in three or four months, may try some other dishes.“

“My wife is the driving force any time we get sushi. I enjoy it well enough, but she is way into it. I’m glad we found this place because they have a similar style to another place we used to really enjoy, and we weren’t sure we would find that in Kentucky. Really good food here.“

“My daughter took me and my mom here for the first time due to Shogun being closed at 2:00pm and reopening back at 4:30pm. We both love Shogun Express the food, prices, and atmosphere. The cashier who took our order had great customer service. They even have a drive-thru if you don't want to dine-in. Before we left, I ended up ordering some takeout for my son and me. We need one in Hopkinsville, KY.“

“The food is great, specifically the bowls they serve are delicious and of good value (I mainly get a steak & rice bowl). The sushi I feel has gotten better, the spicy tuna roll is my go to and since the last time I've had it there has been a definite improvement.

The interior is lackluster, but this is more of a grab-and-go restaurant.

“The food is great. I love the chicken with garlic sauce. The lady that works the front, pretty sure she also owns it, is amazing. A friend and I got to talking and accidentally stayed past close. She assured us we were very welcome still. She also helped me get my baby into the seat when I was struggling a bit which was super sweet. My friend dropped something under the table and we were shocked at how clean it was. The place is older but they take pride in keeping it clean. The only criticism I have is they don’t have a changing table for babies. They don’t have a kids menu so it’s maybe not their demographic but many people bring smaller babies with them places and it would be great to have a changing table. Other than that I can’t complain.“
