“Well, I don’t like writing bad reviews. But this one visit did not go well, which is unusual. Just a note: This was after the lunch rush. Not many people there. The waitress was nice enough, but she was in too big of hurry. I had to wipe down the table with a wipe I had in my purse.Took a while for the food to arrive. The salad has changed and I didn’t like it. Grilled cheese sandwich was almost burnt. This is very unusual for a Bon Evan’s. “I went two weekends in a row, so that is saying something. The first time I went, it was with a friend, and she ate all of her food. The next time I took my son and he ate all of his food. The prices are reasonable. The location is convenient for me. I'd say this is a place the locals frequent (I'll probably be one). The staff is friendly and attentive enough. The food is good, and the menu offers a range of selections but is not overbearing. The place is clean, and so is the bathroom (both times I've visited). They also have clean kitchen awards on the door when you walk inside.Parking: The location is on a strip shared with other businesses (i.e. sports bar). Depending on the time of day, it could become an issue if you account for how many the restaurant holds (generous size). However, when I went (late afternoon borh times), I did not encounter an issue.Kid-friendliness: Yes, family oriented.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, but the entry is not automated.“
“I cannot say enough good things about out this restaurant.. the portions are ridiculously big WELL WELL WORTH THE MONEY, the service is spot on perfect l, the people are so friendly and ownership cares and you can tell they care by how the place looks.“
“Poor service, but always great food. Got there today before all the morning rush around 9AM. Was seated in a timely manner and our waitress, who didn't introduce herself, took our drink orders after about 5 minutes of sitting down. Drinks came, but then no order was taken until after 30 minutes of waiting. I was on my 3rd cup of coffee before it was even taken. Had another waitress get us coffee refills twice (after the hostess tried tracking our waitress down). And had to ask the hostess again to find her to take our orders. Our waitress pretty much totally ignored us, never apologized. Our food came out after being there 45 minutes and other larger parties that had come after us had already had their food (had different waitresses). We were even warned by a table across from us that we had a newbie and it was taking forever for them too. That couple finally got their food, left, but the guy said good luck on their way out. Even if it was a newbie, she could have at least acknowledged we needed refills, our orders weren't taken for a very long time. She even passed us once after 15 minutes of waiting and said she'd be back to take our orders, but another 15 minutes went by and still no one, so we asked the hostess if she could get her. IF we come back, we'd definitely not want to be seated in her area.“

On Saturday 3/16 she was phenomenal with the service, keeping our glasses cold and the beer a delicious 29 degrees!It was a busy weekend but YOU didn’t miss a beat when it came to handing all the tables and making sure the guests had what they needed. “It was ok. Went for lunch for the first time in a while and noticed a lot of tables still dirty and not cleared. The chicken wrap was delicious. The fries were not good so much seasoning that they were too salty, and I like the fries from here.“
“A nice old-fashioned restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere and comfort food. I visited sort of at the end of breakfast and beginning of lunch, when the crowd of older folks gave way to an influx of working people. By the time I left they had a full house but seemed to be handling the business just fine. I had the Dragster Grilled Chicken Breast, covered with diced tomatoes, onions, and green peppers, which was pounded out and nicely grilled. It would have been perfect smothered in some melted cheese. I'll have to ask for that next time. My sides were a HUGE baked potato baked just right and a side salad; all that with coffee for under $15. The server and the proprietor both checked on me more than once. It was a good experience I hope to repeat soon!“
“Love this local sports grill! We are there so often the staff know us and our orders! It is so welcoming and friendly. The location is well decorated and has many photos of customers over the years. “Really fun place...dancing, music by Iconx ( one of the best in the area! Book EARLY! ) Never ate, but the service had to struggle a bit because of the huge crowd ( ICONIX is loved ).Parking: You pretty much have to park on the street, so the earlier you get there, the better...“
“This restaurant is as simple, down-home, and fun as it gets. Located on US 42 right at the interesection with the road to Big Bone, it's an easy, recognizable, casual, and convenient meeting place. Very spacious and both a table and bar area. Waitresses were Johnny-on-the spot and friendly. The food was generally bar food (what else would it be in a bar? The Maisonette? :) ) Service was quick, food was hot, and the burger is probably their best item. If you have any outstanding warrants, just FYI. You DO have to get used to the siren that briefly goes off when an order is ready in the kitchen. No, they're not coming to get you. LOL~ Prices always seem to enter into every restaurant these days and their prices are really no better or worse that any other comparable restaurant---everything is going up in price. Just deal with it and have fun !!“
“Servers are very busy, but, the food is so good! My son got blueberry pancakes with blueberries on top and I was so envious, simply because my blood sugar can't handle than. I have the same problem every time I visit...there are 4 things I want to order, not just one.“
“Took the family here, hadn't been for quite a while. Very impressed with the menu selection, service was outstanding, food was great, can't say enough good stuff about Buffalo Bob's. Will make this a regular stop for family dinners moving forward.“
