“Cincinnati hit the jackpot with Boosalis Baking! I used to jet off to Paris for work, trying every croissant spot there, thinking nothing could match up back home. But Boosalis proved me wrong in the best way!Their chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) is the real deal. Seriously, it gives the famous spots in Paris a run for their money. And don't even get me started on their plain croissant—it's a close second to my favorite in Paris, Ble Sucre. Now, I can get my croissant fix without the long flight. Big thanks to the Boosalis team for bringing a slice of Paris to Cincinnati!“

“Popped in before dinner for drinks on Friday night. Parked right out front of the spot and breezed in. After being warmly greeted by the host, we parked at the bar. The place is beautiful. Love the design choices and the blue notes. A big table carved into the back wall looks great for a group. The drinks take awhile for the staff to make, so prepare yourself. However the wait is definitely worth it. Loved every drink we had. The French 75 was light and crisp. The Peardon my French was tasty and not overly sweet. I'm not a huge rum person but would highly recommend the hibernation sour. The bit of salt and spice was fantastic. Can't wait to come back. I want to try their daytime coffee and food menu.“

Their atmosphere is warm and inviting from the decor to the employees there was never a moment I didn't feel welcome. They serve Honduran coffee that is rich and blends beautifully with their homemade syrups and flavors. They rotate flavors with the season but majority are house made and festive. Their espresso drinks I could order by the dozen and I'd still want more, they're that good. They also serve authentic Honduran food from breakfast to lunch, they're a great compliment to a sweet drink. “2023: 4/5 stars. Collective has lost some of its magic over the years. It's still pretty good, but the costs have just gone up a lot. Pour overs that were once $3–4 are now $6–7, when they actually have them, for example. They are using North South for pastries now which is a big win. They have largely stopped doing lots of the fine touches that used to make them what they are, such as the single origin espresso option. I still visit, but a lot less than I used to. There are so many other options now compared to OTR in 2016... the newest spots, Redtree and Coffia are both worth checking out.2016: 5/5 stars. It's the best coffee shop in OTR and in Cincinnati. The espresso drinks are nice, pour overs are great, and they do some weird stuff like espresso lemonade ("spronade"). The baristas are very friendly and the owners are down to earth and around most days. Very good neighborhood spot.“

“Cool place, cordial staff, breakfast sandwiches and quiche were really spot on! Coffee good too, and I'm picky. Fast service. Over I liked the atmosphere - very cool but not snobby or pretentious...Only bad thing is the dining room floors were unreasonably dirty. I say unreasonably because they had salt residue all over (like when you salt due to snow or ice outside) but it had been like 5 days since we had any weather to speak of.Sweep and mop daily, and if the closers don't, ya have to do it in the morning!“

“Came here for some coffee and their latte was genuinely delicious. You know when your coffee tastes like how coffee smells. Highly highly recommend. The chai latte on the other hand was so heavy on ginger and nothing else... it just was not it. But I would come back for the coffee. Also, it would be great if they could get to know their products a bit. I ordered a cheesecake cake pop. 3 workers gathered to decided which one is the cheesecake one... and they got it wrong. Weird“

“I am a local College Hill resident and visit this coffee shop often. It is bright and airy with a boho modern feel. The coffee served is La Terza, which is one of the best local cincy roasters. Seasonal coffee drinks brighten up the mood with small food side dishes, including salads, pastries, and sandwiches, filling your appetite. Luminary is becoming a College Hill staple as I have run into many a neighbor there. They sell La Terza coffee in bags, which is convenient and makes a great gift.“

“I loved coming to this little 2nd home type environment while in engineering school at UC music and vibes are always comforting and calming, something I always needed more of. Now coming back as a graduate it’s the same amazing place and I hope it stays this way for many many years to come :) Great place to study, read, talk, or just kill time. Their playlist is always bomb.“
