“Top notch customer service and excellent food! We made reservations for a Monday night and after we arrived we realized that maybe a reservation wasn’t needed! Very attentive server and great food. Make sure to get a slice of cake or pie for desert! They have an area in the back where you can walk some trails and little animal enclosure.“

“Upon arriving we were greeted and instructed to pick our own seat. The restaurant has a local vibe to it. Our server catered to our needs, especially in keeping our drinks refilled. The burgers, fries, okra, onion rings, & cheese quesadilla were all fresh and yummy. The owner we briefly spoke with as we were leaving was warm and personable as well. “Papa Z's exceeded my expectations. I recently moved down here from the Chicago area and was really missing traditional Chicago food. Well, Papa Z's fixed that! I had the Italian beef and Chicago style hotdog and it instantly reminded me of Portillos before they went franchised. (If you know you know). The beef was nice and juicy and had great flavor, and they went all out with the Chicago dog, they even had blue relish! Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially if you are from the Chicago area. You will not be disappointed. Staff was very friendly as well. I can see this place going far!“
“Absolutely the best Chicken omelet I've ever had. Service is always friendly and lively. Great place to visit and worth the drive off the interstate. Plenty of parking even with a trailer. Lunch specials daily but that breakfast is wonderful.“
“Great meal. Great service. Bacon is very tasty. Pancake was fluffy and delicious. My husband had an egg sandwich, and we shared the pancakes with the Special Breakfast. It was a busy spot on a Saturday morning, but service was fast and friendly. My one point of critique for the atmosphere was that the chairs were not comfortable and there was a doorbell chime right by my ear. Next time, I'll pick a spot away from the doorbell. Will definitely be back.“

“This place was great. We stopped driving home from Colorado to Huntsville. It's like a super awesome really clean waffle House. They offer breakfast all day and burgers all day. Also had a few brews on tap. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're traveling it was well worth it and a great place to relax and the tables are quite large.“

“We where out late tonight. Other restaurants where already closed. ? So we stopped in this little Waffle House off I24 in Calvert City a little after 11pm March 12 2024. Wasn't expecting much! One other customer, The Cook, a Waitress, My wife, My service dog and Me. Quite clean but best of all smiles. The waitress took our orders. Got them right out to us. Spoke friendly to my dog. The cook even ask how our meal was tasting and if we needed anything. As both the cook and the waitress walked and wiped things down. You could see pride in their work. It was nice to see this.Keep up the great work ?Oh My wife Kelly and I will be back.Yes Chip too? Parking: We had great parking spotWheelchair accessibility: The handicap spots are by the door not put at the end of the walk then a ramp. The ramp is close to the door.All around thinking of the customers.“
“My family & I are staying at KY Lake for vacation, and came to eat here. We got a table right away, and were greeted by a nice waitress. Service was really good. Food was decent. However, I left 1 star on the atmosphere because in the bar area, the staff working was the only people over there, and they were talking extremely loud. It was to the point that my family wasn't able to hear each other talk at our own table. Other than that, everything was great. Just something they may want to address because it wasn’t something I think others would enjoy either.“
“I have had dinners here three times over the past ten months. Close to interstate and easy access. The quality and flavor of food was very good, and service was always prompt. First meal was the mahi mahi and the fish and sides exceeded my expectations. Since then I've stopped in and ordered salmon and chicken and I was not disappointed.“
“This is a gem off the beaten path. Pancakes, biscuits, omelets, cheeseburger, Bubba burger, sides.. all amazing. Cooked fresh to order and quick. Soft drinks are available or choose from the selection of drinks in fridges. You order at counter under food sign and pay after you've eaten at counter near entry way. Employees are friendly and make you feel right at home along with local patrons. Very clean from front to back. Kelly was amazing and very welcoming and informative. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area and can guarantee you won't be disappointed. Only complaint is prices are not advertised.“
