“Had our simple wedding in the Gazebo outside and then shared a wonderful lunch with our guests in the restaurant. Tyler and the staff were easy to work with and took care of everything for our special day. They went above and beyond and helped us create lasting memories. The property is exceptionally kept and offers great photo opportunities. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our wedding and recommend to everyone.“

“Let me start out by saying that, normally, we don't make a special trip to go to Captain D's. Our experiences at multiple different captain d's have not been. The food is overcooked undercooked or the restaurants not up to par. The other night, it was late. We had been at our 2 youngest sons football playoffs and championship games all day. We were tired and hungry, but sick of the same old fast food restaurants around town. So we decided to stop by Captain D's. You know, that once every 6 months fish and shrimp craving you get. Normally, after you stop at a fast food fish restaurant, you end up let down with the results and it just did not hit the spot. So, pulling up to the restaurant, I had low expectations that way I don't get upset later whenever the stuff's not right. That was not the case at the Captain D's in princeton kentucky. Let me tell you, I was flat out blown away. The customer service alone was enough for me to bring my family of 9 back again, and the quality of the food was on point. This experience at the Captain D's in Princeton, Kentucky has been the best experience at any Captain D's that we have ever visited. Although, I can not vouch for the cleanliness of the restaurant being as we went through the drive-thru, from what I could see, it was not in disarray. The counters were wiped down and there wasn't crud built up around the corners of fixtures and baseboards. If every fast food restaurant had the customer service and good quality of food that this Captain D's had, they would all be better off. They set the bar high. We can't wait to go back again.“
“The food was great. Our waitress was nice and quick It is a pub wirh sports on the big TVs. A relaxed vibe. We had the Shepherds pie and it was yummy. I had the salad wirh fried chicken on too and a bowl of the white bean soup. My husband had the fried cod and fries. The hot beer cheese wirh pretzels appetizer was good wirh fresh hot pretzels but a bit expensive at $12 with juts two pretzels sticks. We had three people so asked for more pretzels and we got charged $6 for two soft pretzel sticks. They used to have a full menu but now a very small menu. The waitress said they are just a pub so now have a smaller cafe menu. We used to get a fresh spinach salad and streaks but they took those off the menu. We still love it here“
