“Nice place for a family meal or place to grab a bite to eat. We enjoyed a dinner following the Underground Ziplines in the nearby Mega Cavern. My wife enjoyed a Scrumptious Pulled Pork Platter that satisfied, while i indulged in the Brisket Grilled Cheese...which was equally amazing. We arrived early and the place filled up quickly, is nice to see. I did enjoy their various house BBQ Sauces, and a couple hits of their Mop Sauce to my Bloody Mary was Beautiful! The wife purchased a Sweet Tangy Mustard Sauce before leaving.“

“We were in the mood tonight for cheeseburgers and it was a bit later than usual but Smokey Bones is open late (1:00 AM). We got there about 8:15 PM. We asked for Christa again. Yes, she bought us our drinks again without us telling her. I love it!! I had a reward email saying we had $10 off $25, so it took me a while to decide which cheeseburger I wanted. Since I don't eat bread Christa suggested I might want to order the bacon cheeseburger as a lettuce wrap since I shouldn't eat buns. They have absolutely delicious sweet potato fries so I chose them. Phil ordered the bacon cheeseburger and baked beans. Our meal was there at 8:30 and yes, I remembered to take pictures. Our cheese burgers were great ! They were so juicy, even my well done burger. We didn't rush but enjoyed our food and conversations together until our drinks were empty. Paid our bill and sweet Christa brought me a fresh iced tea to go. We asked about what Smokey Bones was doing for Super Bowl and Valentine's Day. It was so relaxing and I feel like she enjoys chatting with us. I think that sometimes people going to restaurants and just bark out their orders to the servers and don't really treat them like people. “Peach cobber was great ! ALWAYS good food! I had never been in there at noon before and everything stopped and we stood for the National Anthem. I Do wish I would have waited to order until it was over, because I had just sat down not even a bite then stood up , by the time it was over my food was already cold. Please don't misunderstand I agree with it.My father is a veteran.I just would have preferred to eat my lunch hot. And I can't think of anybody else.Who does that so I was surprised. But again everything is good!!!“

“7/3/16 it was absolutely wonderlicious ? i had wings...cheese corn....collard greens and some spicy pickles on the side omg it was DELICIOUS! !!! service was great ! Very friendly and fast ....i will be back for sure ....i also had bread pudding alamode ?it was enough that 4 of us shared it ❤❤❤❤❤❤Update a friend and I ordered wings last night . She had never had the smoked wings before. We also got the bread pudding for dessert. It was fantastic. The wings as always were plump juicy and smoked to perfection. The side of bbq sauce was the cherry on the cake. I can't say enough about the quality. The bread pudding was delicious OMG . I AM A FOODIE/ GROUPIE AND I LOVE TURNING PEOPLE WHO LOVE GOOD WING ONTO MOMMAS. The slaw had to be old it had a sour outdated taste. I had diarrhea a few minutes after getting home. I'm not sure if I will ever be back to this location. Use to be one of my favorites. My waitress was very nice though.Parking: Be careful parking in Walgreens parking lot. They have tow away signs now . Also restricted on street parking loading zones 1 hour limit. A real pain !“

“We celebrated our anniversary there tonight and received excellent service, and the food was beyond wonderful. Kevin, our waiter was great! We also loved to see that they employee individuals with special needs as we have a son with Down Syndrome. Definitely will be back soon.“

“This is some pretty impressive BBQ! The homemade potato salad with their homemade mustard, the best sausage and meatloaf sliders. But the big hidden gem was the smoked wings that needed no sauce at all. The sever Knox is amazing. Reading the reviews he must not have too many bad days at work. A must try if in the area.“

“The ribs are great but I'm a brisket man. You really need to get both and enjoy. I'm from Texas so the bar b que sauce is not my cup of tea but the vinegar base one for the pork is good.Parking: Make sure and use your GPS because you may some time pass the entrance. Once there plenty of parking.“

“Wow!!! This place is amazing! This has to be some of the best BBQ I have ever had in my life. I got the chipped brisket sandwich, some of the best baked beans in my life with some apple crumble. WOW! Delicious to say the least, I also got two wings as well since they were the special of the day, the dry rub on them was amazing. The employees were so nice and helpful for this first timer. If you are in the area this has to be on your bucket list. Trust me this place will not disappoint.“

“Our first time getting food from here. The pork BBQ was really good despite a few chunks of fay. They gave us regular, sweet and fire sauce. The bakes beans were delicious with a deep flavor, molasses maybe? If you want buns you have to ask. The price was very affordable, around $23.00. We will definitely be coming back.“

“I had the most amazing snow crab boil for 31.99 and since I had never been there I thought there was no way that it could fill me up so I ordered a perch dinner also. I was so full from the crab I barely touched my perch dinner. What I did eat of the perch dinner it was just as fabulous as the crab meal. Solid fan!!!!! Great service and conversation. “I tried this new dish with BBQ chicken and two skewers of grilled shrimp on a bed of rice. Came with two sides. I got a loaded baked potato and their amazing asparagus. What a meal, and it wasn't that expensive. It exceeded my expectations! Bravo Longhorn!“

“Ordered a package for 20. Food was excellent except the meats. Wish someone would have called me. Chicken and pork were VERY DISSSPOINTING. Expected more smokehouse taste which neither had. The chicken was in hunks and not shredded. Most of all the pork was the bottom of the barrel with hard tough peices. 3 of my best friends told me that the pork was dissapointing and the quality was terrible and I do agree. For my $200 I EXPECTED BETTER QUALITY and if that is what is served on their normal pork sandwiches I am so glad that I never had one. Btw the buns were molded on day #3-- so glad that hubby noticed as he was going to make a sandwiich..bad quality. The chicken oasta salad had hard dark chunks of chicken-- otherwise it was good...green beans and apples were awesome. Again highly embarrassed that meats didn't wow me and quality was bad..“

“We went to 3rd Turn Oldham specifically to try Backside's pizza of the week: caramelized onion, bacon and gouda. It did not disappoint. The food here is always on point. The brussels will forever call to me, and the grilled cheese with bourbon bbq brisket is amazing. My sister ordered the salmon and I was unsure (not exactly "bar food"), but it was delicious... especially the whipped sweet potatoes. It's lovely to be able to enjoy delicious food along with the beer and mead options on the same premises!“

“Best Barbecue Around!!! My husband and I are here visiting family and had received a recommendation from a local 4th grade schoolteacher for Doc’s. We had the dinner for 2 with ribs, wings and pulled pork with 4 sides…I think it was $33 or something close to that. I’d only had a bowl of cereal and was super hungry and this food hit the spot. The server, who said he also cooks the meat, was very good and attended to our needs without us saying anything. Needless to say, we took about half of our meal home with us, and it was just as good the next day. I can be critical if it’s warranted, but this was a pleasant experience and we will go again.“
