I love Grimaldi's. It's coal fired pizza and you can certainly taste the flavor. My husband and I recently went for his birthday. Fun fact they have an excellent birthday offer and give you a large cheese pizza for free during the month of your birthday. Our favorite eatery was closed today so we decided to hit Grimaldi’s since it was close to our next stop. Just went for Pizza and it did not disappoint. It’s not your typical NYC style pizza but it’s very close. The coal fired oven is where the magic happens. Crust was Thin and Crispy with that distinct flavor found in the old coal fired ovens found in NYC years ago.
