“My husband and I stayed at a hotel across the interstate for one night and found this in a search for dinner. WOW! The food was absolutely delicious! We had the samosa chaat, dal makhani, and chicken curry with rice. Everything was flavorful and savory! The dal makhani was spicy to me (not as much to my husband,) but I still stuffed my face with it. I drive I-75 to see family and Exit 104 will likely be a stopping point for me now, just to get some food!“
“I visited for the first time today for the lunch buffet and decided to get a small amount of every dish offered as my experience with Indian cuisine has been sadly minimal (first time living in an area with this option). The staff was welcome, the service impeccable, and I am not exaggerating when I say I loved every single thing on my plate. This is my new favorite and I plan to come back often. Highly recommend!!!“
“Very friendly folks here. The food was simply outstanding. What can I say? Indian food can be all over the map. I'm working in the area for a few days and they got good reviews so I ventured in. But....one never knows. I've spent a lot of time in India. I was not disappointed in the least. The Aloo Ghobi was surprisingly not drenched in oil, but rather very clean and nicely spiced and flavorful. The Basmati Rice was perfect. Light and fluffy not clumpy. The Garlic Naan was just like you want it. That is always the test. Garlic Naan...it seems so simple...but hardly anyone gets it right. This was the best I've had in the US! There were a good number of Indian people eating there. I always figure, if people who can make the food themselves, at home, will go out and pay someone else to do it, it must be pretty good. You won't be disappointed.“
“I was in the mood for something spicy and this place did not disappoint. OMG the coconut curry chicken with extra spice was amazing. We also ordered the garlic naan. My son and I split the meal and it was more than enough for both of us. The service was good and they were prompt in getting needed water for the extra hot curry. I definitely recommend if you are in the mood for Indian food.“
“Excellent service and food. The owner was very helpful in explaining all the dishes to us and recommending dishes she thought we would like. We tried several new dishes we have never had before and it was a really great experience. We tried a couple different curries and biryanis. They were both so delicious. Our first time here and definitely not our last!“
“Gave 5 to encourage them and bypass Google ratings.Positive is location and Punjabi taste which can get spicy hot if red chilly powder is added.I let them know NO RED OR GREEN CHILLIES PLEASE! And they understood 'No means None'. I'm ok with black pepper and garam masala, other Indian spices. It's easy to see where it's lacking. If you're in joe bologna neighborhood then students are your best customers. Follow the same principles. How Joe started with affordable food for students and grew. A casual walk in buffet; clean, hygienic, well lit would suit much better than a faux fine dining set up in my opinion. Hiring a culinary school graduate could bring in fresh ideas in fusion cooking.Mostly all Lexington Indian restaurants including the largest one 'tandoor' would need a lot to catch up with a rapidly evolving fusion Indian scene growing in India.Trader Joe's has some excellent frozen Indian dishes more suited to the American taste possibly made by a trained chef and research.Parking: On the back of restaurant.“
“Where do I begin!!!! The food is excellent! The food is more interesting than your standard Indian restaurant. The Nepali dishes are magnificent. You must try the Chili Momo. And the Gobi Manchurian. And the garlic Naan is soft and hot and delish! So all the food is great, and this is a great place for vegetarians and vegans. The two dining rooms are spacious. One has lots of windows, so it is very bright. The other is darker which, IMHO, makes it so much more relaxing!!! The staff are very friendly and very patient with all my questions about the various dishes. Their English isn't perfect, but it's good, and they try really hard. All in all, it's a delightful experience!!!“
