“They make it right! I have a food allergy. One of the servers told me they don't even have any in the kitchen so there's nothing to worry about. Well, that turned out to be incorrect and could've been a severe situation. Fast forward to them making ny food incorrectly. The managing partner came out herself and made sure everything was handled properly and they corrected everything for me. She went above and beyond to ensure my food was safe for me to eat and comped the meal. I just appreciate someone taking my food allergy seriously. I didn't want to be rushed to the ER on my lunch break.Dietary restrictions: Make sure the server knows your allergy even if you don't think it'd be in that meal.“
“I took my parents and fiance here for dinner. The salmon salad that my fiance had was fantastic. The Atlantic Salmon that I had was the best I've ever had. If you stop in, try the Brussel sprouts and mushrooms as sides with this dish. You will not be disappointed.Our server, Shevi, was super friendly and prompt with refills and check-ins. “Blue Heron Steakhouse totally lived up to our expectations and then some! It's cozy and quaint and Lacey took great care of us. The food was amazing. The steaks were high quality and grilled exactly as we liked. The sides were delicious as well. The dark chocolate mousse was heavenly and paired nicely with the remaining Cabernet Sauvignon I had left after supper. We were seated by the fireplace, and upon closer inspection, the chandelier is made from old Maker's Mark bottles. I love the exposed brick as well.“
“We had a wonderful time with absolutely amazing food and service. My fillet was cooked to perfection. Anne had sea bass that burst with flavor. The atmosphere was nice. We could carry on a conversation with ease. Of course the wine helped. Hugh had a ribeye steak that would have taken me 2 days to eat. It was probably 22 ozs. Our family style veggies were mouth watering too.“

“Absolutely love this place!! Brought my wife here for a Valentine's day dinner and she's ready for a trip back. Can't go wrong with the Nighthawk special and the corn pudding is delicious. Fried banana peppers are a great appetizer and the breading was delicious. My wife isn't normally a fan of salads but can't stop talking about how good the garden salad was, especially the croutons. Had to get dessert to go since we were so full.“

“I sat at the bar (solo), Gerardo was great....very engaging, helpful, listened...and he was busy with a full bar (it was Blue Grass Stakes Weekend). And his partner Graham was equally helpful and engaging. I returned a couple of nights later, the whole restaurant was full, Gerardo saw me, told me he would reserve a spot for me. 10 minutes later, I'm seated. Just great customer service...and I saw Gerardo treating everyone this way. I've traveled a lot to many high end restaurants, and I put these guys in my top 5 for service (maybe 3) and the restaurant in my top 7-8. I'll definitely be back when I return to Lexington.“
