Dining at Rosette's felt like being in a Wes Anderson film. Ambience, food, music, art and decor--everything was so elegantly designed, I could not help but admire the whole setup and vibe. I ordered the seared octopus & beet salad and both were really flavorful. Octopus was perfectly seared, and partnering it with broccoli balanced the flavor. The food and service were good but the wine was mediocre. I got the roasted cauliflower which was slightly undercooked and a little low on flavor and I'd definitely skip it next time. But the steak frites and mushrooms were great, perfectly cooked and really tasty. The red wine was too warm, even for a red. The space was really cute but very echo-y and when other groups were loud it could be really hard to hear. I'd come back for the steak but maybe a cocktail next time!
