The Village Anchor offers a pleasant dining experience, with excellent service provided by Kirby and Maddie. The chili wontons and salmon couscous are standout dishes, while the salmon over risotto and fish and chips are also enjoyable. The cocktails, particularly the blackberry old fashioned, are highly recommended. However, some dishes, such as the crab cakes and mashed potatoes, were not as well-received. Prices are on the higher end, with the pork chop costing $45. The restaurant has a patio with good ventilation, and on Wednesdays, there is half-price wine. Overall, it's a great spot for special occasions or a splurge meal.
