“My partner and I order at Amols every week to every other week, and it literally never disappoints. Everything we've gotten tastes amazing and it's a crazy good value with the portions you're getting. They even threw in some garlic naan for free the last time we ordered which was such a nice surprise! Absolutely the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at 10/10“

“A group of four, we ordered chicken tikka mughlai, chicken saag, lamb bhuna, and aloo bhindi (potato and okra). The last dish was not on the menu but my wife asked for the combination and they quickly obliged. All the dishes were very good. My favorite was the chicken tikka mughlai. Service was good and very friendly.“

“There's nothing fancy about this restaurant -- but the food is fantastic and the service is great. We can't get enough of it and visit regularly, usually when we don't feel like cooking for ourselves. The food is richly flavored and consistently delightful. Most things are cooked with ghee rather than oil, which is more to our liking. Prices are reasonable, especially considering we frequently split each serving into multiple portions AND still go home with leftovers to enjoy the next day. I think we're a few visits away from being on a first-name basis with the staff/ownership; it's to really nice to see familiar faces every time we come in to dine. We can't recommend Shaan enough!Vegetarian options: We often only eat from the vegetarian selections of the menu, and we're always satisfied!Dietary restrictions: I can't eat anything made with Canola oil (aka Rapeseed Oil) -- there's none of this in any of their dishes as far as I am aware, though I've not asked about the kids' menu. I believe they have options to accommodate Vegan restrictions, but that's not been my concern.Parking: Right out front, lots of rows, plenty of spots.“

“This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the cincy area. The service is amazing. Babu took great care of us this evening. Every thing was fresh and hot. Tried the Chilli Nan for the 1st time, it was incredible. Lamb curry was delicious. Plenty of leftovers for later, but already planning my next visit.“

“Went Sunday for the buffet, which was terrific. The place indeed is a bit worn and definitely could use a refresh, and there is little service, but the food is very tasty. My favorite was the Gobhi Manchurian, a fried cauliflower dish, but everything I tried was delicious. The buffet was replenished often, so the food was fresh and hot. I look forward to returning.“

“If you're looking for a quick Indian buffet for lunch in the Madisonville/Oakley area, this is a place to go. I was neither thrilled nor underwhelmed. The place was clean, the food was fresh and hot while I was there and the staff were friendly. My favorite dish on the buffet is the saag paneer! They also have the little bowl with extra cayenne pepper that's not shown in my photos.“

“My dinner was delicious! Saag paneer and garlic naan, absolutely delightful. Light crispy bread, and the perfect level of spice on the dinner. I am an early eater so I had the place to myself, wonderful experience and I will be back.Vegetarian options: Many offerings for both vegetarians and vegans! Most restaurants don't have a vegan menu, but this one does, much appreciated.“

“Upon recommendation of this place in Silverton, ordered carryout of Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan. The food was delicious, but a tad overpriced. The place still states dine-in as an option (in which case the price would be understandable) and they are certainly equipped for it with booth seating and nice decor but the only business was a steady stream of take away orders. If that is their model moving forward they should consider a smaller space and pass along operational savings to the customer. In any case, will return and look forward to trying a lamb dish and the garlic Naan.“

“The food was really good! It's definitely a cozy fit with the group I went with but we all enjoyed the food and variety of flavors. It's also awesome that you can choose the level of spiciness. As someone who love spice, it's a great boon to the experience.“

“Best Indian food in Cincinnati! The food is much more flavorful, fresh and savory that other Indian restaurants. We are always pleased with the service, portions, taste and presentation. We visit at least once or twice a month! Can't get enough of their garlic or onion naan with my chicken Tikka masala. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Easy parking.“

“Absolutely loved the Chicken Tikka Masala at this local Indian gem! The Chicken was tender (thin sliced, not large chunks) and cooked perfectly, covered in a creamy, rich tomato-based sauce full of spicesThe balance of flavors was spot on - level 3 was spicy but with just enough kick to keep it interesting. The basmati rice was fluffy with buttery garlic nan on the side that was perfect for scooping up the sauce. If you're ever on UC's campus you must stop in and try!“

“Very enjoyable food, and very polite service. Danewad, Mr Kamal. The vegetable mango is good but be warned that it is fermented, so this curry is a bit sour and doesn't taste like fresh, sweet mango or even under-ripe mango. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection. The Lentil (dal) soup was delicate and enjoyable.I also had aloo (potato) paratha (baked wheat flatbread). The crushed potatoes were very mildly flavored with spices that I could smell but not taste because it was served late and the vegetable mango was, sadly, strong enough to completely block the flavor of the spices in the aloo. If you order this, aloo samosa or another with mildly spiced potatoes, make sure to eat this first or dip it in sauce.Public, 2-hr parking is to the side, and their parking is in the rear, adequate for the small size of this restaurant.Vegetarian options: Some items can have coconut milk substituted for milk.Dietary restrictions: LactoseParking: Public, 2-hr parking is to the side, and their parking is in the rear, adequate for the small size of this restaurant.“

“I ordered the Chicken Makhani at a level 4 spice. Also ordered the Naan bread stuffed with cheese. Came out very quickly and was hot. Tasted amazing, really loved dipping the bread into the sauce. The entree came with a side of rice too. I think the portions are solid, in fact if you wanted to share with another person you definitely could. Service was good, all the employees were very nice and our waitress made sure we had water and such. Overall this is a very solid Indian restaurant and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for Indian in this area.Parking: Parking behind restaurant.“

“Ordered delivery via Uber Eats. The food was amazing! I love Indian food and try every place I can and this is one of the best! I got the. Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Mango Juice & Gulab Jaman for dessert. I chose spice level 3 and it was perfect. Enough heat to bring just a little sweat to my brow and TONS of flavor! The rice was fluffy and fragrant with cumin and the naan was absolutely perfect!! The mango juice was sweet without being overly sweet and topped off the dinner perfectly. If you live Indian food, you MUST try this place.“

“Really delicious food and great prices. The staff is friendly, but a little OVER attentive. I personally don't like constant check-ins and dishes being removed one by one through the meal. Will return though bc the quality of food was fantastic!“
