“I think the owner and his family were serving us last time we went there. The sandwiches had generous amounts of ingredients, the service was friendly and competent. We liked our sandwiches. Nice clean restrooms too. Earlier times there, we also had the displeasure of dealing with the "rude girl". Hopefully she is no longer working there.“

“Was going through the drive through today but both the drive through and dine in are always excellent. Especially today, the take out employee named Ben (hopefully I got your name right ?) was very sweet, peppy, and swift with his work. After coming from a rough morning so far his greeting cheered me up significantly! Thank you Ben! ?“

“Placed our order, we both got chicken tortilla soup. The soup was not up to temperature. We took our soup back to counter and asked if we could get some hot soup. The young lady sent it back and asked the "gentleman" in the back for 2 more due to the temp not being warm enough. The "gentleman" in the back seemed like it was a hassle and said to the young lady behind the counter, "I JUST sent 2 through the window"The young lady said, well, they weren't hot. We obviously got 2 new cups of soup, which were just right. My complaint is simply this, you have 3 gentleman working in the back preparing food for the consumer and 1 "gentleman" complaining about doing his job, correctly!!! If the soups not hot, just do your job and replace the soup with hot soup. Nobody twisted your arm to get this job, you obviously wanted or needed a job, so do it right and or don't let the customers hear you react like an adolescent!!!“

“Just wanted to give a shout out to the two gentlemen who served me thursday sept 24th. I had some bad news so wasnt gonna be able to cook dinner. Walked in trying to grab some sandwiches. These gentle were so accommodating to all my sandwiches which needed this and not that. They ended up making me laugh and i bought a cookie. “I just went in to get a sandwich and needed to order a gluten free sandwich for my celiac daughter. Alex asked if it was an allergy and I said yes, he proceeded to wipe everything down, change gloves, get clean utensils, and supervise his staff on how to safely prepare the sandwich. I thanked him (and the guests waiting behind me) for his thoroughness and he told me he understood because his mom also has celiac disease. I appreciated him and his team so much. Amazing customer service. I really appreciated the team on site today. Well done!“

“My daughter and I stopped here after shopping two of our favorite Half-Price Books stores. We try to get together every other weekend and McAllister's is one of our favorite places, although this is the first time we tried this one in Louisville. We usually go to Clarksville or Jeffersonville. The food was good but I had too large a breakfast and took some home for later.“

“A little pricy for deli sandwiches, but dang are they good, and fairly large portions too. Their house honey mustard is delicious. When they're busy, you'll definitely wait... but everytime I've been here, it's been worth the wait.“

“This really is the best Subway we’ve been able to find in Louisville, and not even by a little. We’ve never had a bad experience here, the sandwiches are made excellent with ingredients that are carefully laid out. This is also probably the cleanest subway I’ve ever seen anywhere in the country.“

“I usually don't have anything critical or negative to say about McAlister's but the past two times we've gotten food there we've found some things lacking. "Spuds" that were very overdone and dry. Once was when we ordered delivery for 6 people (spent just over $100 so a leathery and clearly not-fresh potato was.pretty disappointing. Also my.cup of chili had quite a bit of gristle/small pieces of fat. I've never had that problem with chili from there before but it was extremely off-putting and I won't be getting the chili again any time soon. The tea, of course, is always perfect. I like unsweet, the rest of the fam prefers the sweet tea. Both are quite good. I didn't like the "pulpiness" of the lemonade but that's just a personal preference. Also I wish they'd bring back the orange-cramberry sauce for the turkey club sandwich.Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu options.Parking: Plenty of parking.Dietary restrictions: Our family has long appreciated the option of veggie chili (we have two vegetarians in our household) as well as the gluten free bread (family member with celiac disease).“

“We were searching for a Subway in the area and went to Yelp. I first went to the one on Shelbyville Road but realized it was in Walmart and didn't want the hassle of parking - so I found this one not far away. The sandwiches are always good at Subway and this one was as good as the others. The people behind the counter were very helpful and very attentive to my order. I tried the new Hotshot Italiano and was very happy with it. My wife got her usual tuna and was very pleased with it.“

“This is the Subway I go to the most. It's only a couple blocks from where I live. Nice location in the downtown area. The employees are friendly and keep it clean. The food is usually pretty good. There is not usually a line there, at least when I have been in there.“

“This particular location was great! We were provided great service by the older gentlemen who took our orders. The food was great and they made sure we were okay during our dine in experience. I think it is great that there are special needs individuals who work at that location. I would return.“

“Chain restaurant, the soda machine is a bit off today and the coke taste was not good. I guess I should have gotten the tea. Was pretty busy for a Tuesday. The employees were nice and very helpful. Very clean location, the tables were a little tightly spaced together for my liking so next time I'll sit in a booth.“

“This restaurant has 5 star service! Sometimes it can be hard to find a restaurant that will review ingredients to ensure it is safe for my child with food allergies to eat. That wasn't an issue here because the gentleman at the counter, Dhaval, was incredibly empathetic and patient with our situation. He showed us the list of ingredients and made sure we felt comfortable with the menu items (yummy pizza and sandwiches) before we ordered them! High recommendation, best experience we have ever had at a Subway!“

“Wow! I just had the perfect Philly Cheese Steak at Penn Station on Lower Brownsboro Road. Not all Penn Stations make it this good. Especially, NOT the one near where I live in Jeffersonville, IN. I get Penn Station Philly Cheese Steak subs when at work in the VA Medical Center because this location is the BOMB. It was hot and full of flavor when my supervisor brought it to me. It wasn't the BEST because it was free. I paid for it. My supervisor likes the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Great job in hiring people who care about what they do. Lower Brownsboro Road location is the BEST. Sorry I didn't get a picture this time.“

“I visit frequently; it is close to my job and home. The food is good and the service is better. There are usually no customers dining in. The space is open but small, and there is not much to do around this location.Vegetarian options: Great selection being a build it yourself shop. You can make anything you enjoy with tons of veg. “Always a great experience food wise.. but I always leave instructions to “leave at door” cuz I have dogs that go NUTS when the bell is rang. Ordered 2x tonite and both times the bell was rung. Also… ordered xtra pickles both times and I didn’t get them ? Come on guys!“
