11 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Prospect

“We were on vacation and starving so we pulled up restaurants nearby and this was a spur of the moment choice. Needless to say it did not disappoint. We very lucky and got a table in the bar area as they were booked with reservations. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was so good. The shrimp were ice cold and the cocktail sauce was perfect. We opted to share the New York Strip which was topped with fried onions, and our sides of scratch made collards and mashed potatoes. They plated our steaks and sides on two different plates before bringing our food to the table. This was by far some of the best food we had on this trip. We finished up with MOLTEN CHOCOLATE BOMBE which is a ‍Chocolate cake with a warm liquid chocolate center, with vanilla ice cream and we opted to have it "loaded" with peanut butter, bacon, and whipped cream. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The ambiance was very nice. As I said, we sat in the bar area but it was still very quiet and it's a quaint little restaurant. The server was stellar. If you're ever in Prospect Kentucky, do not miss this spot.“

“We always feel at home at Karems. The servers work hard to make sure everyone is treated like family. Every menu item we have tried has been delicious! We particularly love the Boss Burger and the walnut mandarin salad with chicken. Sunday brunch is also a favorite! Matt makes the best bloody Mary’s and mimosas in town and the open face omelettes and Benedict’s are to die for!!! Highly recommend!“

“We come here weekly and love it! The food is always served hot and delicious and their Mango Margarita is the best I’ve had. Diego is awesome and our fav, although we’ve never had bad service by any of the servers. Since becoming ‘Dos’ instead of ‘Los’ the menu is expanded and much better.“

“I think 4 is perfect for this place… it seems to be family owned and the man with glasses who is the waiter was incredibly kind and helpful… it was clean and comfortable. The sushi is good, especially for Louisville… again a solid 4… prices were very reasonable and good sake choices. Seems like most people were getting takeout and eating inside it was easy to get a seat on a Friday night.“

“Has a fresh and tasty pizza. The wings are just as good with great sauces. If you like bourbon they also have a broad enough selection too.Vegetarian options: It's pizza and you can have a vegetarian option or build your own. For Italian style dishes it can be hard, but there are some other vegetarian options too.Kid-friendliness: They have pizza, how is that not kid friendly. Also there's enough seating for families.Wheelchair accessibility: It's all 1 level with low bumps so wheelchairs, walkers, etc can all have access.“

“Really great Mexican restaurant, the food and staff are top notch. We eat here about once a week as a family, we have always had a great experience. The yolandas are especially good as well as the carne asada tacos and big giant burritos (kiddo’s favorite). The prices are 2022 reasonable, and you really get a lot for your money. You wont leave with buyers remorse by any means. The local choices within driving range are plentiful for restaurants, Los Aztecas is always one of our favorites.“

“The shrimp tempura roll was fantastic and I got my order taken and given out very quickly. This one waiter named Bella was actually the nicest and the manager Erin was really nice. Also the scenery was great and the atmosphere was cozy. I love the boba tea, specifically the Taro and the shrimp tempura was a fantastic appetizer. Safe to say, I’ll be returning.“

“I'd rather have fewer items to pick from the menu and the food be great. Peel and eat shrimp, Artichoke queso we're good. My salmon bowl was tasty. Salmon was a bit overcooked but had great flavor. My husband had the seafood trio. It was okay. His salmon was dry, and the corn salad / succatash was dry like it had been warmed up too many times. Bread pudding was dry, I was expecting googy moist bread pudding it was not. I would still go back and try something different. It was Derby weekend, and that may have caused some issues. The atmosphere was lively. Loved the outdoor space and live music and beautiful scenery. There are plenty of places to sit. Everyone was having a great time! “I had hoped the menu had also regular meals, but others than chicken fried rice, it's pretty much all sushi. We had the yum yum roll, it wasn't very firm, slices very uneven, but the flavor was good. We split a chicken fried rice and hubby also had miso soup. The service was good, was hard to get closed out so we could leave. I would come back if in the mood for sushi.“
