“[Update Jan 2024]Food has been a little up and down, lately. On a recent order, the fried green tomatoes were good, the fish platter ok, but the open faced roast beef (a special) was way oversalted. It seemed to be the gravy, which should be simple enough to check as it's made. You're mileage may vary. The quality of their standards doesn't seem to fluctuate. Just an FYI.Still generally good. The menu hasn't changed since I can recall, but everyone enjoys it. Decent pub food and I always enjoy their wedge salad. Simple, but tasty.“
“I had the egg and pancake with one meat breakfast plate and also got an extra side of chunk hash browns which were delicious. Bacon and eggs done exactly as I ordered. The two pancakes were light and fluffy, good flavor, perfectly cooked. Very good service. From time of order to food on the table was timely. Nice home decor, plenty of seating, plenty of parking. Two people with similar orders under $23. A fo back to place.“
“Such a great place to have lunch! We had pulled pork, baked beans and slaw. Highly recommend the sides which are better than you make at home! The slaw was straight up magical! The beans were thick and rich and so savory! The pork was just delicious! Tender and perfectly seasoned with a great bark! This is just good bar b q done right!“
“1st time at Castle Farm. Celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary. Maddy was fantastic. She walked us through the menu and gave us her personal recommendations. The Beef short ribs were so tender and the Wagyu melted in your mouth. She was right the bread was like dessert. We will 100% be back.“
“Amazing amount of beer selections. Hate all the beer joints doing too many IPAs. We had a burger and the Philly. The burger was fantastic and the Philly was ah. We tried the house cups and the onion rings. Both were good. Service was fantastic and the place deserved more traffic than they had. This place needs more people trying to enjoy a great beer with a good food option.“
“Valentine's dinner with my wife. She had the tuscan chicken with gnocchi, which she said was delicious. I had the diver scallops on a bed of polenta, which was also great. Perfectly cooked. However, there were 2 scallops. 2??? Oh well. Also had chocolate coverered strawberries for dessert.“
“Celebrated my birthday at Holly Hill. Staff was so kind and attentive. Had a beautiful 3 course meal with wine pairing. Then we decided to add the cheese plate. The local cheeses- especially Kenny’s were amazing. The sunchoke bisque with carrot top pesto was SO good! Pacing of service was great too. Such a warm, inviting little retreat!“

“The best. Heirloom has been consistently the best restaurant since 2006. It never disappoints. Lexington has great restaurants but Midway is the quintessential KY town and Heirloom is the Midway gem. Gretchen never disappoints with the superb service.“
“We stopped here for lunch recently and had a good experience. The mini burgers, Kentucky hot brown, and chocolate shake were all great. The service was excellent. The seating inside is limited to 5-6 tables and seats at the bar. They do have a nice patio area. I would recommend the patio area for ventilation. They were cutting onions while we were there and unfortunately, our eyes were watering by the time we left. They have parking on both sides of the restaurant, but can be tricky backing out onto the busy main road.“
“We eat at Tack House often with family. They have large portions of any dish we've had. The food always comes out hot and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves breakfast. Lots of items to choose from for any taste.“
“What an awesome find! We decided to stop at Liam's upon arriving into LEX, based on Google reviews. We were not disappointed!! If you're looking for tablecloths and full service restaurant, Liam's is not for you. Our food was served on "real" tableware, however! If you're looking for great, authentic food and friendly/helpful staff, you're at the right place!!! It's inside a convenience store where you can purchase a drink if you choose and bring it over. Would definitely stop again when in the area!!“
“This is an amazing nursery with so many beautiful plant varieties. The shop is beautifully curated and the greenhouse feels like walking into a jungle wonderland. They have aome of the biggest tropical houseplants I have ever seen, and even have some amazing rare finds. We couldn't help picking up a few things, even though we're out of town and have a 5 hour car ride home.“
“The service here is generally good, this last time our waiter was in an extreme rush during our whole meal. He never introduced himself, he never asked if we needed anything. He did keep an eye on our drinks and kept up with them for the most part.“
