“Nice small clean place in a residential area of Port Allen. My son told me to give it a try since I was going to be in the area. You can't find a friendlier place. We got there about 15 minutes before 2pm closing. No one rushed us and we enjoyed that. The bread they make for the poboys is delicious. The parm sweet potato side was large and tasty. We were too stuffed to even think about a house made dessert...next time. I will definitely return.“
“Love this Walk On's location. This location is better than the one located down corporate in town center. We had a very nice waitress, I don't remember her name but she had blonde curly hair. She was super sweet and made our experience great. We went on college night which was super packed and busy but our burger came out in a reasonable amount of time. College night is a great deal. The scholarship burger is only $5 and comes with fries and toppings. The burger was a little pink in the middle but is understandable with how many burgers they were probably cooking that afternoon. Loved that our waitress kept checking up on us and making sure we didn't need anything else.“
“You can't beat George's for the pub atmosphere, great service and awesome food. The people who take orders and serve the food are friendly. Your total experience is their goal. They hit it every time I go there! Great place to meet up with friends to watch a game over good food.Dietary restrictions: The extensive menu gives options for most dietary needs.“
“I have heard a lot about the Little Village, and I was really excited to try it. Everyone raves about the bread, but it just wasn't for me. If you like true Italian bread, dipped in olive oil, you will probably enjoy it. It was just a bit too much for us. We tried the fried deviled eggs, and they were incredible. We also had veal parmesan and eggplant parmesan. The veal was really good, maybe a tad bit overcooked around the edges but the sauce was delicious. The eggplant was not what I was expecting, it was more of an eggplant log? rather than what I expected, a slice of eggplant, fried. but still really really good. It had a nice flavor and a unique breading. The sauce was very good as well. We decided to go for our anniversary and were treated with complementary glasses of champagne. I also got a house salad because I kept seeing the salads pass and they looked really good. They don't have a traditional ranch, but they have a house dressing that is very similar. Lettuce, olives (black and green), and the dressing and this was somehow one of the best salads I've ever had. I would just like to have added croutons, but I know that's not the traditional Italian way.“
“This was my first time at this walk ons location and I have to say it is definitely the best location I have visited. Came in to watch the lsu basketball game and the atmosphere was great. Sammy was an excellent server and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely will be coming back to this location!“
“Service is great. Food comes quick. Motzerella sticks way overcooked and nearly black on exterior. Menu has changed (somewhat disappointed) and prices have gone up noticeably. Lots of TVs to watch sports but bar is usually crowded with regulars. Overall good place and food consistently ok.“
“I met the owner in the store today and she told she was picking up groceries for her menu today. She showed me pictures of her restaurant and told me to stop by for some good food. She was so warm and nice. I can't wait to go support her restaurant!!“
