“I just past by this McDonalds and was very disappointed to see that it wasn’t open but on the website it says that their open 24 hours. Them hours was updated 4 weeks ago by the company, r so it says. Y’all would make so much money if y’all would b open 24 hours.“
“Overall, I’ll still give the restaurant a 4 because of the great burgers and drinks. However, this is not a place to go to for a steak. I ordered one today for the first time from here and there was absolutely no seasoning on it. When I say no seasoning, I mean not even salt and pepper. It was something I would serve my dog. It was also not the temperature I ordered but it took so long to arrive, I didn’t want to wait longer because I was starving. I’m now marinating it, which I’ve never done to a steak that’s already cooked, and will season it for human consumption when that’s done. I hope I’m able to salvage this piece of meat. I’m super disappointed. Seriously, Canseco’s Market serves a better steak at their deli for like $15-17 on their steak night (Thursdays).“
“Have been a District fan since they first opened 10 years ago, we always make a point to stop in for our favorite NOLA breakfast—a miso praline bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a hot chicken and honey butter biscuit—when we’re in town. This time, we got in line before 11a but given a tour arrived just in front of us we didn’t make it to the register until 11:10, at which time we were told breakfast was no longer being sold. The woman in front of us had just ordered breakfast, so we questioned this, but the cashier was impatient and stood by that he would only be serving us lunch. We still enjoyed the chicken sandwich and sopapilla donut we had, but were sad that an exception couldn’t be made.“
“Every beer we tried was delicious. Cocktails were much better than expected for a brewery. The food also blew us away. Possibly best chicken I've ever had. Sure it's not an easy walk from the Bourbon Street festivities, but catch an Uber from a main street and it'll be a nice change of pace that is definitely worth it.“
“We had the Creole Queen beignets, fries, and warm apple beignets, they were delicious! The next day we went back for the Creole Queen grits. Oh my gosh ya'll, they are the best grits I've had, buttery, melt in your mouth goodness!!“
“Stumbled upon this place, and we were pleasantly surprised. The "gentleman" that greets and ultimately seats you can be a bit abrasive but it can be overlooked as the food is no fuss awesomeness! Burgers and such cooked as you wait and everything we had “
“After a long trip and waiting to settle into the hotel we found this spot not more than a block away and kept going back over the course of the week even though we were just visiting and not for the convenience but the service was fantastic the food was amazing and overall just an incredible spot to check “
“This place has character. From the moment you walk up to the build, to the memes on the wall. I got the mushroom bacon Swiss and it lived up to my expectations completely. The price isn't bad either. I'd eat here anytime it gets suggested by friends.Vegetarian options: They have an impossible burger version of their burgers. Not everyone's cup of tea, but they are attempting to be inclusive.“
“Stopped by this burger joint on a whim and wow, was I blown away! The burger was the star of the show – perfectly greasy, in the best way possible, with a flavor that just wouldn't quit. Every bite was a juicy delight. The service matched the quality of the food – friendly and on point. The atmosphere? Just the right mix of laid-back. If you're looking for a burger that satisfies in all the right ways, this is the place. Can't wait to go back! Definitely a NOLA Jem. Lastly sounded like the owner was trying to feed his employees after a long night, that means more to me than any good meal. An owner that respects his employees is 5 stars and deserves repeat customers!! Try this place you won’t be disappointed“
“This is not fancy, this is an epically perfect dive bar. We headed here in NOLA to watch MSU game for the tournament. There were plenty of TVs, comfortable seating, and we sat right at the bar. Bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. Also the drinks are NOT weak! The food was totally perfect, definitely recommend the pizza and the potato skins. We did a lot while in New Orleans but this was one of our fav experiences.“
“Excellent food, beautiful atmosphere and the service was top tier! We were the last out the restaurant, past closing time and they were beyond polite allowing us to finish our meals. I had the crawfish poorboy with fries...AMAZING!!! I tasted the red beans and rice which were so delicious! I will definitely go ahead once I go to New Orleans again.“
“Food ALWAYS hits!!I've had almost every burger and every chicken sandwich and every salad..Favorites repeats were the hot chicken sandwich and Cobb salad pictured here.Bartenders all friendly, I only have 30 minutes for lunch so I like to call ahead so it will be ready but if you come at an off peak time you should be golden.“
“I’ve been coming to Original Thought for almost a year now and every visit is a 10/10. ?? The owner is always so so kind & thoughtful with our food & requests & it’s just such a nice environment to go for good food & a friendly experience ??“
“I drove around this place a few days ago and decided to stop today. I wish I would've taken a photo but the food was so hot and fresh I couldn't help but to dig in. At first, I was on the fence about the sauce not being tossed on the tenders however once I got out of that mindset, I was very pleased and preferred that the sauce was on the side. The tenders were so crunchy, juicy, and fresh, the fries were seasoned perfectly, crispy, and hot. To my surprise they have crushed ice similar to sonic ice but not as big. So for all my ice eaters who love to finish their drink, shake the cup, and eat the ice, this place is for you. There's also outdoor seating incase you'd want to sit down to eat. Thanks, Guys 10/10“
“The wings aren't that good to me anymore, but that bbq burger. Best in the city. It's so good.12/15/23 update: so, I retried the wings and OMG. They were bomb, just make sure to tell the cashier to fry the wings crispy. That was game changing.“
“This little cafe that is attached to the LA Children’s Museum is a great spot for a quick bite or snack or a full lunch. They have a good menu of sandwiches and salads. Their pastry counter is my favorite though, can’t leave without a homemade pop tart or a delicious cinnamon roll ?“
“Great food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend in this restaurant to anyone. Great place to go and it won’t break the bank.Parking: Pull into the parking lot and walk in, unless it’s a holiday or event, then you may need to arrive early.Kid-friendliness: There are many of high chairs in the restaurant and a kid friendly menuWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair can be used throughout the facility“
“Went here for my 54 bday and had the time of my life with family and friends. We ALL enjoyed ourselves. That chicken plate was right on time???? the drinks were hitting right and we got our groove on the DJ did his BIG ONES????????????????????“
“This is not the Shake shack that we have experienced elsewhere in the country. This restaurant is upscale. To us, the menu offerings seemed aimed at the younger generation. I had a shake shack plus mushroom burger, she had chicken tenders. We both had fries. Mine were plain, hers were cheese and bacon loaded. Our food was tasty, but different. Portions seemed small compared to the prices. We both had milkshakes, which again seems small for the rice. But we left, I’m hungry.“
“Great food, reasonable price, great service. The only thing that I would change is the fact that they don't have a tomato soup that is paired with their grilled cheese sandwich. When we ordered the grilled cheese, we were surprised that they did not have a tomato soup that went along with it. I think that is one big thing that is lacking from their menu.“
“Stopped by Beachcorner last night. It was very busy and a little loud. There was a little wait for the food because it was only two gentlemen working which was totally understandable. There was one guy cooking the food and making drinks lol the great part was the customer service. These guys had a system set up and both worked well together. No matter how busy it would get, everyone was given great customer service and both gentlemen smiled the entire time. The burgers were good just not seasoned enough. Lol We still enjoyed everything. My friend ended up ordering more burgers to go. It was her first time. Thank you to the gentleman for making my green tea shot ?“
“Casual eatery on Oak Street. The burgers are delicious and are made to order! My personal favorite is the Uptown Burger, which comes with goat cheese and roasted Roma tomatoes. If that doesn't sound appealing, just try it! Don't forget the side order of onion rings. I swear these are the best I've had. The service is typically quick.“
“I love this little place, it is tucked away off of the Westbank Expressway in Jefferson Parish. The cook makes the best food! The bartender makes great drinks and it is a nice place to hang out late at night with locals. Pool tables and darts, with a nice sized bar. There is a nice sized lot for parking.“
“I had gumbo it was just okay. And I also had catfish on yellow rice with crawfish bisque sauce over it .. and it was soooooo good I definitely recommend it . Service was not so great we had the bar tender whom only worried about the bar top we had to fiend for ourselves although we were on the full service side . Ice cream was great .. I would definitely come back but maybe pick a different area to sit in“
“Parking: I work across the street at Tulane sometimes and they let us park there for free. It's so very helpful and convenient to not have to fund parking, pay for parking ,or have to walk far to get to work. Thank you guys for all your help and consideration! Much appreciated ?“
“I love this place! If I lived a little closer I would be there most nights. They make a good solid burger. My only gripe is the lack of liquor selection, otherwise I would give them 5 stars. The music I've heard there is awesome and always entertaining. Very friendly staff!!“
“I absolutely love going here! I've never had anything bad to speak of. The service is terrific, thanks to a young gentleman named Nate! He is absolutely the best server I've encountered in about 5 years! Nate went above and beyond, treated us with major kindness and professionalism, and did not miss a beat of his job! When we go there, we will request Nate as our server! Thank you, young man, for just being you!!“
“Wow, I'm glad I found this place. It was exactly what I was looking for. Found it on Google with a lot of great reviews. I was in town for business and ordered a to go. Girl at the front counter was very helpful and polite. I ordered the Company Burger with bacon and a side of fries. Reminded me of a good "bar" burger with just that little bit of grease that I like. Definitely not a "chain" burger place. Also tried the house tea, that was very good. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back.“
“Great options, including many different tacos and fixings plus queso and guac was delish! Highly suggest anything that included the caramelized pineapple! Great heat on the buffalo soldier and buffalo shrimp as well. Not to mention it's located inside a brewery with wide selection and great atmosphere. Games, music, tv, patio and indoor seating. Service was promoted and friendly.“
“The food is incredibly good! the service is more than fantastic and hospitable. it's like you are eating at an old school diner with home cooked meals you would only get from your grandma. if you are in the area or not, this is a must stop!“
“Came here on our trip to NOLA and heard that we needed to go to AJ’s Jazzy Grill. The food was delicious and did not disappoint and I feel like we did not spend that much for how much we ordered. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“
“Pretty dang good, the best hole in the wall you can find in New Orleans!!! I normally get the spicy chicken fillet and man, it blows my Tom and Jerry socks off of my feet. Gonna have to take my nieces and nephews here once they come and visit with me. So glad I came here, after I ate, I went home and did my Indian traditional dance because I was so happy!!!!! Make sure you guys come here, or else I will tell the Grinch to steal your next dinner.✅FIVE STARS!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?Wheelchair accessibility: They have a cool ramp for my disabled dog.“
“Bad Wolf Restaurant sets the bar high with its innovative menu, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance, creating a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression on every patron. From the delectable dishes to the carefully crafted cocktails, every aspect of the restaurant reflects a commitment to excellence, making it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, Bad Wolf Restaurant guarantees an unforgettable culinary adventure.“
“Title: Gattuso's: Where Food, Fun, and Fiascos Collide! Tucked away in the heart of Gretna, Louisiana, Gattuso's Neighborhood Restaurant, Bar & Catering is a culinary adventure with a side of hilarity. From the moment you step inside, you know you're in for a treat... and possibly a few unexpected laughs. Culinary Capers: Let's start with the food, because let's be real, that's why we're all here. Gattuso's serves up mouthwatering dishes that will make your taste buds do a happy dance. But here's the kicker: the portion sizes are so generous, you'll need a roadmap just to navigate your plate. Seriously, their "small" dishes could feed a small army, and we're not complaining. But it's not just the size that's impressive; it's the flavors that will have you singing praises. Their gumbo is so good, it could make a Cajun grandmother shed a tear of joy. And don't even get us started on the po'boys--they're so stuffed, you'll wonder if they accidentally mixed up your order with a Thanksgiving feast. Great food, great vibe and not too expensive!!!“
“I had a great meal. That jambalaya was amazing and I paid extra to add shrimp. The corn bread was decent but too much for 1 person. I thought price was fair for the main. Cool spot stayed for a little music. Service was phenomenal, as I had a gem of a server and a bunch of laughs. Made the meal even better.“
“Never even knew this place was back there, and I thought if the food is half as good as the pictures look….and yall this might be my new favorite Nola spot. Can’t recommend enough. Def gonna come back and try the pasta. (Got the bourbon black out burger and the sweet heat wings.)“
“Absolute go to spot in Nola, good rotating draft menu & drink options - coming from a local! Ashley, Ashton, Zane, Conner, these folks are top notch bar tenders! Not to mention the food is great JP & Justin have the kitchen rockin’ especially the wings with homemade blue cheese on the side. 5 Star all the way!“
“BEST CHICKEN SALAD IN THE CITY!!!! This chicken salad is consistently good! I've ordered it like 20 times. It always tastes the same and it is absolutely delicious. It taste better than yours and ya maws! PLUS they give you crackers!!! and the paprika on the top be fiya!!!“
“Lucky's is my go to neighborhood bar when in uptown New Orleans. One can spend a good time watching the streetcar and folks go by while enjoying reasonably priced beer or a stiff cocktail. I didn't eat there, but they used to serve a mean burger!“
“Great menu, well diversified with options for any tastebuds! Went back for their daily special, which was a lobster roll with a New Orleans twist, adding crawfish on a baguette, and it was absolutely delicious. Our server Tracy was awesome!“
“Nice place! Arrived right at opening time, put my order in. They were willing to do my substitution request. Got to talk with the owner while I waited for my food. And the food was good: meaty red beans, moist cornbread, etc. I'd go back again.“
“Uh...dang!...what took me so long? Maybe the limited hours but wow! Finally a burger I can call my own and recommend to coworkers. I will say between this and Commerce around the block, this one has the slight edge plus has a bit more room to get into place during lunch. Super nice folks. Cool atmosphere. Can't wait to do the Reuben and many others. Gonna be hard to get past the Cooperstown burger tho!“
“Put in an online order for a Philly mayo lettuce jalapeños onion rings.Overall HELL OF A SANDWICH DESPITE GETTING MY ORDER WRONG BY NOT PUTTING ON MY PEPPERS(I PAID FOR) LOTS OF BANG FOR YOUR BUCK MEAT WISE. THE ONION RINGS WERE VERY OVERCOOKED AN ROOM TEMPERATURE ?ALL IN ALL SOLID 3.8 ID EAT HERE AGAIN(I WANT MY PEPPERS! ) LOL“
“Lillian made everything 10X better! she is so kind, attentive, patient, thorough, etc. She was incredibly welcoming and even brought our to go food right out to us. They were pretty busy and they got our food out at LIGHTSPEED rate and it was all hot and perfect! but the BEST part was Lillian!! She definitely is AMAZING at her job!“
“This was absolutely a really delicious steak. Brewsters is one of my favorite go to spots for a inexpensive good steak. The hamburgers are really good also. They have a nice looking bar with lots of televisions so you can relax, have a drink and watch a game.Their signature drink is really good,it reminds me of the drinks at Port of Call.“
“I will make Rock café Ni la on Borbon Street a nice place, it is best to make a reservation, we did not have one and we waited approximately half an hour, we ate the hambuegea, Bagby ribs, and the nachos although we ordered the jalapeño on the side, you always have to leave 10% tip, we went on a Wednesday “
“I enjoyed a meal with friends at the back patio. The food was awesome and plentiful - the hummus and pita were a stand out. There were a couple of TVs with sport playing which harshed my mellow a little, but overall it was a great place for a meal“
“I’ve been driving by Big Poppa’s for quite some time and finally decided to stop by for a late lunch and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the Big Poppa Buger and Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was definitely home made and was perfectly made with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. The Sweet Potato Fries were sprinkled with a cinnamon sugar and brilliantly served with a cream cheese dip. The server who took my order was also amazing and continued to check on me through my meal. I will definitely be going back!“
“I bought 20 dollars worth of these greasey burgers and passed out. I woke up the next day and hadn't eaten any of it. Grease soaked all the way through the bag, got up and went back out on bourbon street to do it all over again. Nola remains undefeated ?“
“This place has changed not just the inside remodelling that was done ... But the stuff used to be terrible ... They have done a complete turn around and are VERY vErY FrIeNdLy .... They R AWESOME not.... If tou used to go here and u stopped go back give them another chance ... The foods good, the orders right, they fast, and super friendly ... Really is yr way right away ... And they're ice cream mechine always works“
