I attended an after party there and I was pleasantly surprised by the security and the wonderful atmosphere! Usually I do not feel safe in the French Quarter but going to the House of Blues was a safe and enjoyable experience. Also their Margherita Flatbread is DELICIOUS!
Everything about this place is just okay, except the ceiling. The ceiling has faces of several great singers and their hometown. If you are going to New Orleans, I would suggest dinner somewhere other than House of Blues. Find a local, nonchain with music and dinner.
