“Long day of fishing out of Sweet Water Marina (Da Crow). Decided to take a recommendation from YouTube personality Outside the Levees and eat Lunch at Dat Kitchen. We walked in and were greeted by Chef Medah with a smile. She gave us a run down of the special and that’s what we got. A seafood stuffed potato with fried catfish fillet topper. Every bite was delicious and the fish was best ever. Made fresh to order. Please give this spot a try when in the area. Here husband and mother-in-law were amazing. “I drove around this place a few days ago and decided to stop today. I wish I would've taken a photo but the food was so hot and fresh I couldn't help but to dig in. At first, I was on the fence about the sauce not being tossed on the tenders however once I got out of that mindset, I was very pleased and preferred that the sauce was on the side. The tenders were so crunchy, juicy, and fresh, the fries were seasoned perfectly, crispy, and hot. To my surprise they have crushed ice similar to sonic ice but not as big. So for all my ice eaters who love to finish their drink, shake the cup, and eat the ice, this place is for you. There's also outdoor seating incase you'd want to sit down to eat. Thanks, Guys 10/10“

“I love this little place, it is tucked away off of the Westbank Expressway in Jefferson Parish. The cook makes the best food! The bartender makes great drinks and it is a nice place to hang out late at night with locals. Pool tables and darts, with a nice sized bar. There is a nice sized lot for parking.“

We ordered a bunch of appetizers and a Shrimp Po Boy sandwich as the lady bartender said "everything here is good" and she was right! The cheese curds were crunchy and cheesy goodness dipped in a delicious marinara sauce. Sweet potato fries were yum and the shrimp po boy was so huge, we split it 3 ways - crunchy seasoned shrimp on a fresh hoagie roll - yummy! They are so quick even when they are busy always friendly even if they are short staffed… 10/10 recommend ..
