“We had the best possible time and service here. The onions rings were much more than just onion rings and the fried shrimp was immaculate. The dessert special was beignets, the best of which we’ve ever had. Love this place, love these people.”
“I brought friends and family all the way down from Ohio to eat here. This place is the real deal! Excellent food and lovely staff! A hidden gem. Worth the ride.”
“What more can I say.. This place is home cooked Cajun food at its finest. If you want true Cajun cooking, come to this place. The staff is fast and helpful, they do plate lunches and let me tell you... It slaps like will Smith at an awards show ”
“I'm only giving a 4 for atmosphere because it was dead on a Sunday night... otherwise the place was awesome.... I got real lucky that they had birria on the menu! Guacamole wad ”
“Ohhh Weee! Look- sometimes it really is just those roadside stops that provide for the best food- and this place did NOT disappoint! We treated ourselves to a variety of their offerings- including 3 types of boudin, their fried chicken & fried gator. When I tell you that I feel like I need to thank someone's ancestors for that fried chicken- I am not lying! Lol. It was juicy & fried to perfection! The gator was also fried perfectly & they're doing some magic in there with that batter - bc it was seasoned in all the right ways. The boudin was also great- we got a link of each; traditional pork, gator & a link of the crawfish. I personally didn't care for the crawfish- but that's a me thing- (gotta have my mudbugs separate! lol) but the flavor of all 3 was great. This place has themselves on the map for a reason, between the fantastic food & southern hospitality- don't miss this stop! 5 stars!”
“I am from out of town but when I come to Louisiana it seems I can't find a good Chinese restaurant...K-Asian hit the spot. We will be back. The food was flavorful and the staff was super ”
“Incredible food and incredible service! The best crawfish boil we've had in our visits to Louisiana. We were passing through Breaux Bridge and came across this spot and so glad we did. We will definitely be back!”
“10/10 great place to go have some good food! Ask them about their signature Angelle’s Cajun Seasoning, just made some salmon with lil bit of Angelle’s and needless to say the results are crazy good ?”
“Found this gem via Google while in Breaux Bridge and I instantly loved the atmosphere walking in.Our bartender Shaneil was great! Even when the place packed up, and she was the only one on bar, she continued to rock the service ?Food was good. I had the filet ( it was a little overcooked for my request of medium, but the flavor was still there and it cut nicely). My husband had the Zydeco gumbo and spicy scampi....both were also wonderful (yes, I had to try it LOL).We will definitely go back if we ever return to Breaux Bridge!”
“Place was a little overhyped didn’t really have much in it had a small diner but no precooked food so unless u have time to wait better look elsewhere for food. The place was very busy tho maybe there’s something I missed. it happens.”
“Such amazing hospitality. The owners were so kind and generous! We're from Wisconsin and they treated us as if they knew us! I love this place! So delicious ?”
“Came in at 3pm on a Saturday, nice and quiet, delicious food, clean clean clean restaurant and friendly staff. Can never pass a Waffle House when I’m outside of Texas and I’m glad I stopped at this one.X”
“Was my first stop when I got to town. I got me two links of the smoked Boudin, got to the car, and devoured half a link before leaving the parking lot. Great store with plenty of spices to kick your food up some. The service by the lady who was working is great she was super nice. I need a place like this in Orange Park, Florida, where I live...”
“Although the Breaux Bridge area did not need another restaurant that offers Mexican fare, I am delighted that the owners decided to open one anyway! If I had to use just a few words to describe this place, those words would be flavorful, friendly, HOT, and fresh. I have patronized this establishment 3 times within the past 2 months and I will say that whether you phone in and pick up or dine in, the staff is upbeat, helpful, and very friendly. On my most recent trip, I was craving salad so I settled on the Fajita salad with shrimp, steak, and chicken. Everything was fresh, very well seasoned, and sitting in a crispy bowl. The waitress made sure to pack my bag with a huge serving of freshly fried chips and a nice helping of their house made salsa (something they always do). Mixing a bit of the salsa with the ranch dressing made for a ridiculously delicious addition to the salad. Definitely check this place out and make sure to order a tamale. Although I have disliked tamales my entire life, this place has totally changed my mind and turned me into a tamale lover!”
“This is a small cozy place. The food is really good. The wait staff are super friendly. Often there are live local entertainers. Reservations are recommended but we have gone several times with none and got seated.”
