“My friends & I stopped in for a birthday celebration. Josh our server couldn't have been friendlier & attentive. The food was amazing!!! Would definitely eat here again.”
“Surprisingly great food! I saw people mention this place and their birria tacos on FB so we decided to give it a try. Man I'm glad we did! My girlfriend and I both said these were some of the best birria tacos we had ever had. We also got my daughter some take out and for a simple rice/chicken/cheese dish it was very good. It's also very affordable with food for 4 coming in under $100 with tip. I would highly recommend La Fiesta to anyone looking for a birria fix.”
“Ton’s is the perfect example of a classic local spot that’s been here for years and it’s obvious why they’ve stood the test of time their service, food and reputation are great! It’s a great spot to grab breakfast, their burrito hands down one of the best around. The staff is so polite and courteous makes you wanna come back for more! Thanks Ton’s for always providing. Your service for the community!!!”
“Y’all. Their boudin is THE BEST. …would be even better if they laid off the red pepper just a bit, otherwise it’s better than any other boudin around here.”
“I stopped the first time on the Saturday before Easter and I just left after not seeing anyone and the lane being closed. Later I found out they were closed that day for only catering order pickups. So this past weekend I stopped once again. I'm definitely a BBQ enthusiast and that smoke smell just draws you in! I grabbed two egg and potato tacos on my way to work with their salsa and BBQ sauce to try. Maaaaaaaaannn! That says enough, and I will be back to try more breakfast and lunch items from the menu! The service was great and super quick.”
“Very cute, vintage, old school genuine diner. Great service, great food, and loved meeting the owner. Hard workers. True Americana. Love their slogan “God bless Mel’s and God Bless America!” ??Will definitely be back when we’re in the area.”
“I was in search for an authentic taqueria to cater my sister's birthday party. Ulises took care of my communications and order and did an amazing job. Placing the order was painless and he even delivered it! He arrived on time for the party and everything was set up nicely in trays. He does offer the capability to bring the trailer to you for fresh food which is what I may do for next time. We will be a repeat customer for sure.”
“Found this hidden gem by word of mouth. The service was friendly and the food was good. They had plate lunch options that we will have to go back for.Grilled Chicken & Shrimp with Carrots & Red BeansCrab Burger and Fries”
“They know how to cook seafood. Classic porboys and other choices.Wheelchair accessibility: Three old steps up with no visible ramp. Parking area mainly on street.”
“Dined at the Broussard location and had the Avocado Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and it was spot on delicious!! Had plenty of fresh shrimp, mixed greens, avocado, bacon, and, homemade house croutons. Their in-house avocado Caesar dressing is phenomenal!! Beautiful restaurant with a full service bar with outdoor seating in a scenic setting. Highly recommend!!”
“Never realized that Parish Brewing was right there in Broussard until couple weeks ago when celebrating my bday. Came upon Canebreak by good friend and is my favorite beer. The staff was very down to earth and friendly. Plan visit again.”
“Party of 4 visiting from Texas asked locals at Avery Island (Tabasco plant) a recommendation for a late lunch between New Iberia and Lafayette. They told us about Poor Boys Riverside. We got there in time for the lunch specials, fried & grilled catfish, wife had a crab cake appetizer she adored, salads, soup & green bean sides were delicious. Service was great, they have a large menu with lots of options, looking forward to dining with them again. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!!”
“Great little place to hang out and enjoy some delicious food. Tonight we had the Atchafalaya pizza. It was delicious. Played some pool too. The tables are very nice. They also have pin ball and video poker. Great little hang out.”
“This is a quaint restaurant in the middle of Broussard. There is a nice sitting area under large oak tree. Food is always delicious. You can wait a little while, even if you call in an order as it is popular. I recommend checking it out. No alcohol is served but if you want to bring your bottle of wine and enjoy their yard, you can.”
“Great pho spot. I go there twice a week. Spring rolls are fresh. Vietnamese tacos are amazing. Pho is delicious, so rich and flavorful. I like to add chili oil to make it spicy. It's damn so good!”
