“My friend and I had lunch and shared a non vegetarian assorted appetizer plate to start. The samosas were perfection. Light and crispy with generous fillings. Everything on the plate was delicious, but the samosas were the best! Sherwyn was our waiter and took great care of us. I had the vegetarian delight and my friend had the alu saag. We were beyond pleased with our food/service and left full and happy.Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian special and it was amazing. It is so much food I had three meals out of it! “Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat.
