“Really great food. The bread pudding is perfect for two people to share. It's delicious and cooked to perfection- not a soggy bread pudding. ? The wings are nice and crispy. Small space so the inside can get a little crowded but there is a bar and there are two little patio options as well.“
“My favorite BBQ spot in Baton Rouge that I make an excuse to eat at every time I’m in town. Friendly staff, good ambiance, but the food is amazing. Brisket is fire and sides are delicious but the chicken quarter is something extra special. I typically don’t mix meats when I eat bbq but I make another excuse to do it when I eat here!“
“A rare perfect review. The "situation" dog was great with tasty Mac and cheese accompanying a great all beef dog with bacon. The Frito Chili Pie side was also fantastic. The service was awesome and atmosphere incredible. I will be returning!“
“Super cute funky lil bar. Wish I would have known about it sooner! The inside is small, but cozy. Plenty of bottled and draft beers to choose from, along with specialty cocktails and a food truck out front. The outside area has cute lawn chairs and tables with umbrellas on turf. Very 50s vibes. There’s a nice sized covered area with a large screen which would be perfect for game days. Excited to see what sort of events they have planned in the future.Best part is that they’re pet friendly! ??Parking: Like most places on government street you have to scope out a parking spot bc the designated lot fills up quick.“
“Quiet Speakeasy Vibes ??Spent a weekend in Baton Rouge and decided to check this place out. We did not try or ask for food as we had dinner plans already. But the service was awesome! Sadly our bartender was moving on to another career but I will be back for sure.On the interior, you will find PLENTY of seating with chairs and couches to create little pockets of relax zones. There was even a back parlor for additional seating out of the main space. Dimly lit but not dark really gives that speakeasy vibe ?We tried the Champagne Cocktail and a French 75 to start. I have never tried a CC, but it’s essentially bitters, brandy, sugar cube and topped with champagne. Very fresh and I love a bubble ?! To close out, we got an Old Fashioned and a Dirty Martini ?“
“Went there Friday night after having dinner at Bayou Bristol. Loose Change was playing, such a good three piece band. I only wished they would have played some good old Rock And Roll. Had a couple of drinks, Nancy and I danced a few times. Had a great time.. The people are so nice..“
“A very nice restaurant. The service was absolutely phenomenal I'm not joking either They went out of their way to make us comfortable.Wheelchair accessibility: This is why I say they went out of their way to make us comfortable. One of our members of the group has a electric wheelchair. They're pretty good size and weigh about 300 lb. He had no trouble getting in.“
“My friend and I had an amazing time at the Sky Lounge. The music, food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all on point. I especially liked how Brad walked the room, ensuring that everyone was good and had what they ordered. In addition, our waiter, Kamron was really cool and friendly. This was service at its finest. We will definitely be back.“
“A sweet hidden treasure in Mid-City! It's a perfect respite from traffic on my way from work Downtown to my home out in Sherwood Forest. Live local music and creative delicious cocktails are a given. The proprietor, and master mixologist, Alan is gracious and charming. He always has a suggestion for something new and tasty to drink. I recommend it to those seeking something eclectic and a notch above the typical Mid-City experience.“
“Had my birthday here this evening with a large table. Service was spectacular. Very quick drink service!Paella was excellent, we started with the tapas and then shared the paella. The chorizo is in many dishes but it’s truly excellent, not greasy like most.“
“Really great everything. The server took the time to find answers for our fairly obscure questions about dairy allergy and menu items and then the food came very quickly and was perfect. One of the best restaurants in Baton Rouge no doubt.Dietary restrictions: We had a dairy allergy that we had to account for and the restaurant accommodated us.“
“This was my first time trying the R&B lounge. My husband and I came went on a Wednesday night to have a laid back date night. The lounge has a relaxing vibe with R&B music playing all night. We were greeted and advised to sit wherever we wanted. The menu is extensive and you can just about order any cocktail you can think of! On Wednesday nights, they have wings, so we ordered some wings in honey bbq. They have a list of flavors you can get them in though. For cocktails, we ordered two old fashioneds. The drinks are no joke! So good and strong we had to order another round! The wings were really tasty too! I definitely recommend going here on a chill date night or kickback with your friends. This place definitely passes the vibes test!“
“I frequent Main Lobby often. It's one of my favorite bars in the BR area. I love the decor and ambience and the staff is always welcoming. You can find people doing work or just socializing with friends. Whenever I have friends in town I always bring them here. The drinks are very good and well balanced. As far as the food it's just ok. Not terrible but nothing amazing. The wings needed a bit more seasoning and slightly over cooked. One of the best features is they do have a rooftop bar as well. If if the area I highly recommend checking them out.“
“Beautiful interior, great music, amazing atmosphere, committed and incredible staff. Absolutely loved it here. There’s a huge age Range and it’s clear all are welcome. My girlfriend and I went last night for the first time and will definitely be returning regularly. The bus boy , Will, and his general manager made my whole night. Couldn’t reccomend this place more!“
“Decided to check out this place to get some daiquiris to go. Saw reviews about the pineapple and amaretto one, so ordered that, a white russian, and eggnog. I must say, the White Russian was the favorite. However they were all delicious. Far better than other places we have tried. Would definitely go back. Very friendly, as well.“
“Adorable little coffee shop in downton Baton Rouge. Great ombiance when you walk in. You order at the bar and take a number and pick your seat. Every wall and section of this coffee shop is its own uniqueness. The coffee was amazing, the Beignet's are delicious, and the atmosphere is so very cozy. This is a must visit.“
“They have a large selection of daiquiris. They gave us samples and the staff was helpful. Drinks are great. They have indoor seating, connect four and a pool table. It's a chill, fun environment. Also, I though the drink prices were reasonable and I love the drink size variety they have.“
“This place has been here forever and I still think it is awesome as it was in the 1970's! The lady that owned/employee came out to see my Silver Lab swim for sticks! The place has been kept up but still has its old charm that it is know for come how you are and when you want just be respectful of other's. I'll be back soon to take Hank swimming. Hank is a double registered Silver Lab around 13 months old and weighs at least a 110 pounds, beautiful dog! If you have a registered Lab we will post on Marketplace for Stud Service!“
