“My experience at the Greenwell Springs location was very good. It didn't start out that way due to a technical issue with the online ordering system, the very sweet young lady @ cashier let me know that there was no order received although I had a confirmation via email. This was very upsetting we drove from Baker to pick up the food and we were very hungry. Still she was never disrespectful even with all of my complaints being made known. She offered to call the manager for which I agreed was a good idea... And here is where things took a turn. Once the manager arrived he listened to what the issue was, (not to mention he drove from another store to resolve the issue) he advised that his customers are priority and did everything he could to figure out what went wrong with the transaction. I was assured I would be refunded (I did receive refund ), and was able to get our food pretty quickly after he arrived !! We are so very grateful to experience this level of customer service ,especially in a time where it seems like kindness and empathy is not the standard or trend. Mr. Tim is the example and thank you to all the staff at Po Boy Express #6 for all of your hard work !!! “Three girlfriends getting together to discuss life. We chose the patio because we knew we would bring the noise level up and apparently we did. A mother and daughter stopped by our table on their way out to tell us they enjoyed our giggles. Patio is the best place for giggles when we told our waiter our goal was to take our time drink and enjoy appetizers prior to our meal he allowed us to do just that with the best recommendations for everything. Everything came out hot and delicious we enjoyed fried green tomatoes, blue crab dip, grilled fish, fried seafood platter, and vanilla bean for dessert. We will return.“

My order WAS NOT complete - the $8 cheesecake was NOT included, nor were there napkins or plastic ware or paper plate - so I had to resort to eating out of the bag. After waiting 45 minutes for the manager to call back to merely resolve the order, I had no resolution. Now - the restaurant will not answer my phone number. Food was fine - yet part of the 'atmosphere' of enjoying the popular shrimp boil is having everything you paid for, and utensils to enjoy it!“

“Extremely rude workers. They delete comments if they don't like the review. We had a party of 10 and waited like they asked then they tried to seat us at a table for 6 people. Five people would be piled on top of each other on a booth. asked to add a table ( there were 3 empty tables right by us) they said no but we could wait an additional hour for a table. asked for manager and a girl comes out saying she is manager. No apologies no nothing. We did call ahead and were told no same day reservations but they had a big enough table to accommodate us. I have been reading reviews and there are a ton similar to our experience. It's starting to seem they do not want to accommodate large parties and try to make the experience so unbearable that they eventually leave. We ALWAYS tip over 25 percent even when service sucks. Their loss!!“

“It's a little hole in the wall shop that has a very small menu. Therefore, what they do make is phenomenal ??. I have a Gluten intolerance so I got the Cheeseburger salad without croutons. The burger was cooked to perfection. My brothers love coming here for the traditional burgers as well.Dietary restrictions: They looked into their fries for me. They fry battered and non-battered separately but that means the fries go with the egg rolls with have gluten ?‍♀️. But the salad was beautiful (with amazing romaine)!“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

“If you haven't visited Duke's Seafood & Steakhouse in Denham Springs, Louisiana, I strongly suggest you make plans to go. I've dined there multiple times, and both the food and service have consistently impressed me. On my last visit, which was on Friday, April 26, 2024, I ordered the boiled crawfish with corn on the cob and boiled potatoes. I must say, they were simply perfect! The way they seasoned and cooked the crawfish was so exceptional that I jokingly thought about adopting the chef! Every time I go, I'm reminded why it's one of my favorite spots. Give Duke's a try—you won't regret it, and you might just discover your new go-to restaurant.“

“This place is such a cute place, its family run business. They are so friendly and welcoming, there’s a reason why their customers keep coming back. There crawfish was on fire, coming from Texas, Louisiana crawfish is much more spicier. I usually can’t handle spice much but I kept on eating more and more. And to be honest I think it cleared up part of my cold I was fighting too. But over all it was great, will have to stop by again when I’m going through Baton Rouge.“

“Amazing food, service and overall experience. Brought 7 kids in and was greeted warmly and received stellar service.The kids had fried food and the seasonings were on point! We kept sampling their foods surprising at how good they were.Best hush puppies I’ve ever had!We split a crab/shrimp/potato/sausage boil. Medium heat was perfect and the garlic seasoning was so good. “Trying to find live crawfish Sunday morning was harder than I thought. I reached out to farmers meat market the morning of and they were more than happy to help. When I arrived I was able to get a 35lbs bag of the largest and most fresh crawfish I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend them for live crawfish.“

“The crawfish were huge. I got take out and found the specials on facebook (it was $8/lb and now it's around $5/lb). They were slightly overcooked and the meat stuck onto the shells a little. I got it with the garlic butter sauce on top and man was it salty. The corn was good and the potatoes were slightly softer than my liking. Everything was drenched in the sauce so it was very salty. Service took about 10 minutes and the ambiance was relaxed and looked like the inside of a shack. I would try it again but without the garlic butter on top.“

Our waitress was wonderful and paid attention to details, as in special requests due to allergies. The charbroiled oysters were the best. Phil's is definitely the place to go for seafood.“

“Great Hamburgers and PoBoys. We have tried them both and they are outstanding, flavorful and fully dressed to order. The star item for us, when in season, are the crawfish! Beyond doubt, the BEST in the entire Baton Rouge area. They are delicious and precisely cooked and spiced. We drive from Gonzales weekly to get their terrific crawfish. Mike and Jack are friendly hosts and put their customer's satisfaction first.“

“I know they are short handed at times, but there is one waitress or she just stays behind the counter, not sure, but she doesn’t have a good attitude or “bedside manner” so to speak. All the call in orders get taken care of prior to you being seated. The last 2 times we’ve been there, we’ve had to sit for 20 min while 13 customers (not counted) came in to pick up their call in orders while we just sat & waited. We almost left. The food is good, it’s not great, but it’s good. The shrimp & corn soup is good, but too much corn. The crawfish e’toufe isn’t the best. Their seafood gumbo is good, I do love their fruit, pecan salad with the house dressing.“

“This was the first time my husband and I visited this establishment. The staff was extremely friendly. We ordered tamales, boudin balls, and fish and shrimp plates. We have absolutely no complaints about the food. We are looking forward to returning and trying other food.“

“Awesome people and are willing to go the extra mile to make a customer happy. We picked up 15lbs of live crawfish at 12:30 in the afternoon and got home to clean them and prepare for a boil at 430. We noticed a few were dead and called and they let us know to wait and see if they wake up from being on ice. When we went to boil at 3 we noticed even more not moving and potentially dead. We brought them back and they kindly swapped it out for new crawfish. I appreciate them taking the time to show us a crawfish after being on ice and being kind to us and replacing them! Crawfish were amazing in size!“
